2-Star Hotels in Clatsop County

This place is GREAT! The owners are wonderful, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. Each room has a different ocean theme which are decorated and fun. They were very accommodating and love dogs! The outside area has a great fit pit that we all enjoyed. Me and my party rented out 7 of the 9 available rooms here and it was awesome. One of the best trips out group of friends have had. The Bout 9 restaurant and lounge is right across the parking lot. Great food and service there. The Ft. Stevens disc golf course and state park are 5 minutes away. A corner market is right down the street. It’s really perfect. We will definitely be staying here again. This is a usual stop for me over the xmas holidays; it's great to have a place with a kitchen for basecamp over the xmas stint when not much is open [Props to Astoria Cafe for hot java post holiday morning run!] There's plenty of free parking, a handful of stores and restaurants with xmas eve/day hours & plenty to do outdoors when Astoria is relatively devoid of tourists [& locals...]

I really like the swimming pool on the first floor. Although it is not big, it is very convenient. It is from the second floor and downstairs. At the riverside, next to the river view railway station, it is convenient to take a small train. There is also a pier where you can drive straight past the wooden trestle and buy fresh crabs.

The hotel is clean and has spacious rooms. Great location with beach access. Walkable to the famous Haystack Rock.

Cozy room and pet friendly

Japanese evening cherry at the entrance of the hotel is the highlight. There is also an oven, an electronic stove in the room, and I went to Costco to buy lobster, meat crabs, salmon and steak for cooking. It feels great.

The hotel is currently under maintenance. The hotel is on the river. It is arrived at night. You can see the cross-state (Washington state) bridge at night. During the day, you can overlook the bridge from the terrace. Breakfast is good, you can have breakfast while watching the sea view, like it. The town is not big, Astoria Column is a place worth visiting, $5 parking fee can be parked for a year 👍, there is a small gift shop on the edge of Column, there are good jewelry, you can buy one or two to go back to commemorate.

Room was small but comfortable and clean. The stairs were quite troublesome during the rain but was very thankful that they did have two elevators, no ice machine on the 3rd floor( which is where we were) fridge was nice size and very very clean! coffee in room was a plus we had a room with no view but it did have a bathtub and check in was easy and check out was even easier!

A good place to stay if you are looking to have a place to sleep and leave your things. It’s not fancy or so. Overall, a budget and good place to stay.
