"This is a usual stop for me over the xmas holidays; it's great to have a place with a kitchen for basecamp over the xmas stint when not much is open [Props to Astoria Cafe for hot java post holiday morning run!] There's plenty of free parking, a handful of stores and restaurants with xmas eve/day hours & plenty to do outdoors when Astoria is relatively devoid of tourists [& locals...]"

"Although it's a bit old, the location is great and it's very clean. The wooden floors were nice, but they were quite noisy when walking upstairs. The radiator worked well and the hot water in bedroom was excellent. I also liked the stylish interior. There was a K-Cup coffee machine, mini-fridge, and a microwave oven. The only downsides were that the coffee pot didn't work and the water in the bedroom sink didn't drain properly."

"The service was fine. The facility was run down. The mattress felt like the springs poked almost through the fabric. The toilet leaks and the walls need painting. The A/C unit is very loud. The room was soaked in Febreeze and we had to open the door to get rid of the smell. The "coffee" that was in the lobby was lukewarm water and really quite horrid. Pick a better place."

"This hotel is right under the bridge. When we arrived, there were no twin rooms available, so we paid an extra $30 to upgrade to a king-size room with a water view – totally worth it! The room had air conditioning on at night, and a gas fireplace was burning, making it just the right temperature. Apparently, the mornings at the beach are foggy and quite chilly, so the fireplace not only kept us warm but also helped dehumidify – fantastic! The location is about 1.5 kilometers outside the old town, and the surrounding area is perfect for walks, dining, and watching the sunset. A truly wonderful experience! Highly recommended!"

"Location, location, location - right on the main promenade smack center of Seaside (see photo). Excellent parking, EV charging, normal condo amenities. Resort amenities are large multiple pools, game room, exercise, quick in-house snack bar and the BEACH! Some made small fires on the beach. We saw a rare Glaucous Gull (see photo). Negatives - vinyl window shades were dated & cumbersome (see photo). The kitchen counter needed repair (see photo). While maintenance staff were a bit slow to respond they were helpful. With about 300 rooms, cutting maintenance staff is a disservice to customers."

"The location of the hotel is great! The room given to us could see the sea, and the facilities were good. The bath water was very hot, and the room size was suitable. Even during the National Day and Friday, the price was really expensive! The service was very good. We arrived early and they helped us arrange early check-in. There was also free beer time on Friday. I went to try it. There were all kinds of strange-tasting beers🍻. It’s hard to describe. At the same time, there are free cookies at the front desk🍪. American cookies are so sweet!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable beds and homey furnishings. Also supports local artists with the pieces on the wall being for sale. Downstairs living room has coffee and food available whenever as well as board games and a VCR that you can use. Innkeepers seem very friendly (but not intrusive). Easy walk to shops/restaurants/beach. Loved the whole town of Seaside - definitely appreciated the character and grittiness of it in comparison to Cannon Beach."
