Maybe not located in the city center or by the sea but we love the vibes of this location so much. it was quiet and surrounding by real portland local. Most important only a block away from Tandem Coffee which everyone must try once you are in portland. The living room and bedroom are absolutely fabulous. Grab yourselves a few snack at their snack bar and laying there is great enough.💖💖

The service was excellent. The staff is pleasant and efficient. I took advantage of a special rate for teachers which included valet parking and breakfast which was a GREAT deal.

Very clean, accommodating staff. If I could suggest anything, it would be that they would explain when asked about being pet friendly that they don’t allow pets to stay in the room while you’re not there and charge a $250 fine if you leave the room. We were confused because in other hotels that we stayed, we were allowed to leave the dogs. This makes it rather difficult when you arrive at the location and you’re an hour and a half away from your house that you have to now find a dog sitter or a dog daycare while you go out of your hotel room to me it defeats the purpose because I know I would’ve left them with the dog sitter at home either that or they clarify their stance on such issues like “do you have a dog here well as long as he stays quiet, it’s OK“ something to that effect.

We stayed 1 night for our trip to enjoy the Maine’s lobster. This hotel is located at the old port area where is easily walking to restaurants and pier. Nice, clean and good service!

You can overlook Portland's Old Port and the bay. The location is pretty good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Pier 60 to eat lobster. The disadvantage is that the air conditioner in the room is noisy, but everything else is okay.

We booked this hotel as we were visiting Bowdoin College, which is only 8 min away by car. The hotel has well kept facilities with a good gym and pool. Breakfast was very good and Mariah was the sunshine in the morning with her friendliness. I would stay here again anytime just for breakfast,

Good: Affordable relative to other hotels, nice/spacious room, complimentary water and coffee during select times of day, nice lounge with games and pool table to hang out at night, room and lobby were clean upon arrival. Not so good: Front desk staff had a mix of friendly and not-as-friendly people - the guy at the night shift was not very welcoming when I checked in. The hallway in the 6th floor smelled strongly of carpet shampoo; it was unpleasant to walk through. Bedsheets were a bit rough (low thread count I presume).

Overall not bad for a basic stay. Staff were friendly and rooms are as expected. Breakfast could be improved as the meats weren’t hot and pastries were quite stale.

Convenient parking, a hot tub for physical therapy, very comfortable. The service staff is warm and thoughtful. The American breakfast is simple and nutritious enough.

The environment is not bad, the bed is comfortable and clean, the water pressure in the bathroom is normal, the spa pool is well maintained, there are supermarkets around, and it is about 14 minutes drive from downtown Portland. If you have any issues, please report them and the front desk will handle them.
