3-Star Hotels in St. Clair County

Room was tired. Carpet worn and stained.Drapes wouldn’t close completely, letting the sunshine in at 6:15. Furniture was old and damaged. Location is next to a casino which is also old and worn. Located in East St. Louis, you must be very aware of your surroundings. It is near the Metro station and they do have a shuttle to and from the Cardinal games. ( A good point!). Not worth the amount we paid for the room!!

I have stayed here several times before within the last year for business & this hotel is a decent value; amenities included are free breakfast for 2 guests per room, free wifi, access to hot water 24/7 during your stay, pool, & fitness center. The main reason I have stayed here frequently within the past year is because I work at TJ Maxx in Fairview Heights, IL & I live 40 minutes away & is 1 of the closest hotels. The main things to keep in mind are rooms don't include a microwave or mini fridge because it's an older hotel, but there is a microwave in the downstairs kitchen area the front desk staff are more than happy to let guests use. This hotel also faces a major highway where many people commute to/from St. Louis, MO frequently, so rooms can be very noisy if your room is on the right of the highway facing traffic & you're not used to sleeping through it like me, you may not the best sleep quality. Breakfast is good & guests can choose from scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, yogurt, bagels, potatoes on some mornings, cereal & whole milk, etc.
