The proprietress is very enthusiastic and planned the Buddha route for me. It is very reasonable. I made an appointment for the bus in the morning. I don't have to queue up. It is very convenient. There is a meal in the homestay, it tastes good, I heard that the boss used to be a chef, and the dishes are made.

The room will also be covered with anti-collision strips. The whole room is spacious and bright, and the bed is comfortable. It’s a parent-child paradise. Heguanshanping is suitable for children to discharge their energy. The scenery in front of the door is also very beautiful. Even the private rooms and table decorations for dining are beautiful. After praying to Buddha, it feels like a holiday. I can sleep until dawn. The boss lady has a lot of customers. Keeping it in mind, all the east lines and items are placed so that people can easily reach them, which is very comfortable!

GGuest UserIf you want to find a place where you can get a close look at the Buddhist heritage and enjoy the mountains and clouds, this homestay is undoubtedly the perfect place to stay for your trip to Jiuhua. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the Hall of the Flesh. When you open the window in the morning, you can see the eaves hidden in the mist. In the twilight, you can overlook the Jiuhua Street with brighter lights, as if you are at the intersection of the mundane world and Zen.
When we arrived at the scenic spot late at night, the boss was waiting for us in person and helped us carry our luggage along the way, instantly relieving our fatigue from the cold night in the mountains. When we checked in, we found that the floor heating had already been turned on in the room. The room was clean and comfortable, and the attentiveness in the details made us feel warm.
The food and beverages are the highlight of this trip: the proprietress is an excellent cook. The braised pork with homemade dried bamboo shoots goes well with rice, and the stir-fried wild vegetables are fresh and refreshing. The must-try Jiuhua vegetarian dish uses tofu and mushrooms, and tastes like the richness of ”braised pork”! The handmade side dishes for breakfast are served with white porridge and freshly steamed pumpkin buns. The homely taste warms the stomach and the heart.
The most unforgettable thing is the night view of the rooftop: a cup of tea, a rattan chair, the lights of Jiuhua Street below your feet are like falling stars, looking up you can see the outline of the Flesh Temple blending with the distant mountains, the sound of wind passing by your ears, the faint sound of Sanskrit, in a trance you can't tell whether you are in the scene or have become a person in the painting. If I visit Jiuhua again, I will definitely choose this place - because it is not just a homestay, it makes the pilgrimage feel like home.

Before coming, I did some homework. There are old hotels on the mountain, and many design B&Bs have also grown up. And this one is the most emotional.
As soon as the order was placed, the butler contacted us on WeChat and arranged for a car to pick us up when we reached the mountain. We ”rejected” the housekeeper's kindness and walked all the way into Jiuhua Old Street. When we were about to get lost in the dotted alleys, the B&B suddenly appeared in front of us.
”Alley”, as its name suggests, is hidden among alleys. The afternoon sun was just right. When we walked in, the snow that fell last week had not completely melted. The white walls and green tiles, a small courtyard, and a big tree shone in the warm winter sun.
After getting familiar with the terrain, I found that the location of the B&B is very good, with major temples, the cable car to the Centennial Palace, and the bus to the rooftop for transfer all nearby.
What also left a deep impression on me were the three young girls in the B&B. They were full of laughter, very cute, and felt like family.

GGuest UserFanchen, true to its name, is earthly yet tranquil. The young owner and his family exude a vibrant atmosphere. The manager met us as soon as we stepped off the bus. Our room, located on the second floor, had wide windows, perfect for enjoying the view from the window. Furthermore, the hotel's elevated location afforded panoramic views of the distant mountains from the terrace, while the full moon shone through. Sipping the Huangjing tea brewed by the proprietress was truly relaxing. The manager was always welcoming and responsive, even arranging a convenient itinerary for us without any detours. The cooking skills of the auntie were evident when we ate at the restaurant for every meal. She even measured our appetites and served us dishes precisely. I love Fanchen and will be back next time.

AAnonymous UserI chose the family room at Yuanhang Hotel based on Ctrip reviews and its proximity to the Cultural Park. The room itself was decent.
However, the hotel seemed to have very few guests, resulting in no air conditioning in common areas like the lobby and corridors. It was sweltering hot the moment you stepped out of your room. Additionally, our room was quite a distance from the elevator, and we'd be drenched in sweat just walking there.
While I can understand conserving electricity due to low occupancy, the entire hotel felt deserted. Breakfast was also very subpar, with one of the salted duck eggs even being spoiled.
The only redeeming quality was the Chinese restaurant, which offered good food and generous portions.
Despite the staff being very friendly, the overall state of the hotel's facilities severely impacted our stay, making for an unpleasant experience.
I had initially hoped to walk to the Cultural Park, but it was too hot, so we ended up taking a taxi for a flat rate of 10 RMB. This effectively negated the benefit of the hotel's location for walking.
I believe this hotel might be more suitable for guests visiting Mount Jiuhua who prioritize being close to the visitor center.

The room design is reasonable, taking into account the living needs of families and children. The details are well done, and there are mobile phone charging cables for rent.
