Father and son stay Thursday - Saturday to explore nearby Stavanger. One of the factors when picking this hotel was it was on the bus route and less than a couple of miles from Stavanger so figured it would be a nice walk or short bus ride each day into the town, breakfast was also included with our booking. First thing first this is a Hotel next to the local Hospital. It turns out this is actually accommodation for hospital residents also with wheelchairs about the place and lots of newborns in the restaurant in the morning was a pleasant surprise. The room was as you’d expect for the price two beds pushed together separate blankets. Small fridge. One working sidelight - one not. Stavanger is a very elegant town. The entrance to the hotel is a lake, a swan, a fountain, and a five-minute walk is an area for dining and shopping. Hotel room is quite big, not urgent, good, good value for money. We went to the footpath stone. There is no parking garage in the hotel. There is a parking garage (210 kr.) for about 10 minutes. The next day I go to the ferry. I don't need to buy tickets in advance. It is very convenient to buy tickets again.

5 minutes walk from the bus stop from the airport. There is a supermarket next to the train station. The free breakfast buffet from the Scandic hotels is delicious. We stayed at Clarion Hotel Energy, Stavanger for 4 nights. We had a super delicious and full variety of foods in the breakfast restaurant. I celebrated my birthday at Kitchen & Table Restaurant, the foods and the service was excellent. We are satisfied the standard of the room, but the cleaning need to be improve eg: vacuuming and mop the floor and dusting the table. Generally, good service minded staffs, excellent foods.
