It's a very historical hotel. The room I stayed in was on the third floor. I could see the sea when I opened the window.

The hotel is old, the room layout is poor, and the bathroom is small. The location is very good, the seaside view is beautiful.

Excellent location next to the beach with a very nice pool. Shame the sea has some litter in it. The bar service around the pool is very slow. The young staff in particular need to learn more English and a sense of urgency. Stone town is very interesting but beware fake guides

Definitely not a 5 star experience Steamy muggy hallways and reception Breakfast was stone cold Rooms are small with limited electrical outlets for charging electronics and the two available were under a table or behind a desk

Fantastic Location on Beach Front. Best hotel in city with excellent staff. Clean, secure and caring . Staff is Awesome and customer service oriented. Chef Sunil and staff in dining will blow you away. GREAT Job guys. If in Zanzibar stay here.

Superbly helpful and friendly staff.
Located in a very central area….easy to walk to nearby attractions like Freddie Mercury house etc.
Plenty of taxis right outside the hotel.
Hotel staff very very friendly and helpful for organizing any tours/taxis.
