"Seeing the reviews I was a bit worried about this one but they were great! Communication was a bit sporadic prior to the stay, but once I called them and got their number, they were brilliant. They were super apologetic about any miscommunications, arranged us a bus pick up from the ferry port for our group (even though it's close by) and upgraded one of our rooms. The staff were lovely, rooms very clean. Overall a great stay in Stone Town. No vegan options at breakfast."

The rooms are clean, the hotel is within stone town and close to a lot of the historical sites like the old palace, forodhani, darajani market and is a short boat ride to to prison island. "

"Great location for restaurants, the night market, tours from the beach and tours into and around Stone town. We walked during the day and night and felt very safe. The 2 rooms were large, beds had mosquito nets, showers and bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The restaurant was simple and great - fast service, good prices, good food, the free breakfasts were as expected - filling and excellent. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend this boutique hotel. Thanks for your hospitality."

"We are group of 30 persons and the guide of Zanzibar has arranged for us to visit this, in order to have some snacks and refreshments in the terrace. But what a surprise we asked to pay as a deposit 2$ each before go to the terrace. And when our plans have changed and we decided to continue our trip by walking, the lady in the reception did not return the money. Very bad experience in the beautiful Stone town"

"Its a terrible hotel, the service bad, the breakfast was poor and everyday the same, the room was full of insects, the wifi didnt work properly. Its super noisy all the day and night. They enter to your room, when they want, without nocking at the door. If you have a problem, they dont help to you. They do the check in when they want, and you have to wait hours. I dont recommend, we really had a bad experience."

"Amazing hotel with extremely friendly staff wonderful owner and management, excellent breakfast and restaurant area is breathtaking. I even extended my stay with them and they were very adaptable and accommodating to any of our needs. Must give it a try specially the breakfast in the restaurants early morning. Also enjoyed exploring different areas in the hotel like a campus area with beautiful statues of animals or decorative framed items. "

"We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – truly exceptional service! The hotel is clean and well-maintained, even though the building is a bit old. It’s located right next to a mosque, so the call to prayer can wake you at night. Breakfast was included, but limited to just three dishes and one order per person, which became a bit repetitive and sometimes left us still hungry. Overall, a very pleasant hotel with outstanding service, though breakfast options are limited and there can be some noise from the mosque."
