Vivi Cafe B&B

Spice Tree by Turaco
"Great hotel and great service"
Mango Restaurant&Apartment Hotel(China)
"I stayed for three nights, but the towels were not changed during my stay. Also, the body wash in the bathroom ran out and was not refilled, so I had to use soap instead. Nevertheless, the food at the restaurant on the ground floor is excellent."
La Neisha Hotel Zanzibar
"Because we stayed one more day in Zanzibar Stone Town, we made a temporary reservation (the original hotel had no room). The basic conditions of the room are satisfactory, but there is no air conditioning (there is a ceiling fan) and no hot water. I can't say there are any services, but the girl at the front desk is very nice and it's no problem to check in early. However, when I came back from a day out, I found that the 60,000 Tanzanian shillings (probably less than 200 yuan in RMB) that I had put in my bag were missing. There is no evidence, so I can’t argue, I’m just stating the facts here."
Zanzibar Palace Hotel
"The location is at the quiet side if the Stone Town. Due to it is situated inside a small alley, the directions could be quite complicated and we were lost several times to head back to the hotel. Despite being assured that it's safe, we were tapped by few mischievous children when we passed by a school near the hotel. That said, the room and hotel itself was great. We particularly enjoyed the breeze at the open air loft, where we could view the sea and ships from far away. It was indeed relaxing. The historical bed and bath in the room made the experience so unique. The only downside was there was insufficient of hot water for the bath. The breakfast wise was in fact the best we had in Tanzania, not to mention the impeccable hospitality provided by the staff there. Special shout out to the helpful staff who assisted us with our luggage during check in and out. Bear in mind on the steep staircase up to the room and inside the room to the loft. It might not be suitable for those who have knee problem, as you literally need to climb up and down everytime to the washroom. Otherwise, it was quite a memorable stay."
Shoki Shoki Hotel Stone Town
"Our stay at Shoki Shoki Hotel during the final five days of our honeymoon was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and always spotless thanks to the hardworking housekeeping staff. The food throughout our stay was excellent, especially the seafood dishes and fresh tropical juices. Overall we felt romantic, peaceful, and unforgettable. It truly added something special to our honeymoon memories."

Park Hyatt Zanzibar
"Our stay at Park Hyatt Zanzibar was truly unforgettable. What a beautiful historic building, thoughtfully restored with an elegant blend of traditional Zanzibari charm and modern luxury, simply stunning. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and equipped with excellent amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring of Stone Town. The staff were professional, attentive, and exceptionally well-trained, consistently delivering warm and personalized hospitality. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The semi-buffet concept combined with an à la carte menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, all prepared to an excellent standard. The quality, presentation, and taste were superb."
Beyt Al Salaam
"Everything was at the highest levels"
The Swahili House
"We are group of 30 persons and the guide of Zanzibar has arranged for us to visit this, in order to have some snacks and refreshments in the terrace. But what a surprise we asked to pay as a deposit 2$ each before go to the terrace. And when our plans have changed and we decided to continue our trip by walking, the lady in the reception did not return the money. Very bad experience in the beautiful Stone town"
Forodhani Park Hotel
"The hotel is across from Forodhani Gardens is in the centre of the action. The room is vintage in decor, very spacious, with a large comfortable and bed . The shower was also very vintage, but powerful, with lots of hot water. We enjoyed the hotel, room, and staff. Unfortunately, there was a marathon during our stay, so there was loud music in the gardens and Fort most of the night. But this was an exception and nothing against the hotel."
Zanzibar Serena Hotel
"Room, Balcony, View from the room and Restaurant is really nice. But only one thing they need to improve in their reception customer service. Room I signed when I check in and Room I really received was different. They changed the room without notice. I asked why they said it's same room inside. But it was totally different. Changed room has no privacy at all. We have to close the window during the stay. And I asked for late check out when I check in. They told me to check last day in the morning. In last day, I asked again for 2hrs late check out. They refused my request even didn't check the system. Just say NO. I am very disappointed with their attitude. And when I checked the site there were plenty room left. As everyone knows Zanzibar is the holiday place. Most of 5 star hotels in holiday place, they run check out time very flexible due to flight time. No deserve to have 5 stars in customer service."
Antonio Garden Hotel
"We had s great 4 night stay at Antonio Garden. Our Twin Room was clean and soacious with lots of space to put our stuff. Beds were comfy and the moskito net a plus. Staff is super friendly. The garden with restaurant and pool is a true oasis in the busy old town. Breakfast buffet is great with lots of veggie options. There is also a tour desk where we booked a tour to Jozani and a spice gardem. Location is great, too. Wifi was not great and you had to relogin every time you opened your phone."
Tembo House Hotel
"The price/performance ratio is good for an all-inclusive hotel in Zanzibar. The beach outside the hotel is very beautiful. The sunset is super beautiful. I spent three nights happily."
Al Johari Hotel & Spa
"Absolutely amazing stay. Sushant , Excellent Service Gertrude at Reception very kind and Friendly. I will definitely recommend Al Johari *****"
Tembo Palace Hotel
"Good value for money. Our rooms didn't face the sea. But we could go to the main building to have breakfast looking at the sea. Very nicel staff, always ready to help. You can also book your excursions here. A place worth a visit if you go to Zanzibar."
Tembo B&B Apartments
"The hotel is great, we were treated very well and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped."
Shaba Boutique Hotel
"Lovely clean authentic small hotel in the centre, great brekkie, cases can be left if you want to go for a wander and a complimentary shower room to use which was so handy as I felt hot and grubby before setting off to the airport, lovely Swahili rooftop restaurant round the corner."
Hanaia House
"The location is OK."
