Hotel Victoria

Very nice hotel specially when they renovation for it. Staff are friendly and very good services from their side. Location is wonderful with nice view.

Staid here for a long weekend. Didn’t realise when we booked this coincided with Norway’s national day/weekend so the city was possibly busier than normal. The hotel is really nice and very central to everything. It was unseasonably warm when we were there which was a wonderful surprise for doing activities but unfortunately not for staying in this hotel as our room was unbearably hot, not helped by the central location as it was too noisy on a nighttime to have the window open when it cooled down. The hotel had ventilation not air conditioning which does nothing to help and reception did give us a fan to circulate the hot air that didn’t really help. We used the bar which was very nice and prices were in keeping with the location. We also ate at the hotel restaurant which has a small menu but very nice food and service. Breakfast was also very good here. We upgraded to a superior room which was perfectly fine and well decorated however the bathroom was very small and quite cramped but the toiletries shower gel, shampoo and conditioner was very nice. You will enjoy your stay here unless the weather is warm then you will wish you had booked elsewhere,

Absolutely awesome motel. Check in was easy. Staff extremely friendly. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The free buffet breakfast is awesome, so much to choose from. Located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Short walk, about 7 minutes to the bus/train station.

Highly Recommend! Historic luxury... immaculate... hotel in the heart of Stavanger! Clean! Comfortable Bed! Fully equipped room! I requested a quiet room! It was perfect! Windows open for fresh night air! Free Breakfast! Daniel was wonderful! Great recommendations!

The doorjambs on the floor are incredibly high resulting in my husband tripping and falling. The breakfast was not good on either of the two mornings we were there; freezing cold eggs and bacon and the fruit for the salad was cut so big we had to cut it at our table to eat it. Layout for breakfast is not cohesive. The shower is terrible! There is no way you can avoid getting water on the wood doorframes becasue of the shower design. The whole bathroom is wet afterwards. Not a great experience for such an expensive stay.
