Bewohnt wurde eine Premium-Cabin mit Fjordblick POSITIV: Lage/Gelände: Unweit eines Hotels befindet sich direkt am Fjord eine kleine Anlage mit Cabins und Stellplätzen für Camper und Zelte. Man ist hier fern des Trubels des Orte Geiranter (4 Fahrmin. entfernt). Cabin-Terrasse: mit Tisch und 2 Stühlen; teilweise überdacht; viel Platz. Leicht versetzt zur Nachbarhütte (Privatsphäre gut) Cabin-Ausstattung: sehr gut; alles da, was man braucht. Großer Küchenbereich; Tresen mit Fjordblick Bad: Fußbodenheizung und kleines Fenster zum Lüften; leistungsstarker Haarfön Waschmaschine: auf dem Gelände samt Trockner vorhanden (jeweils NOK 70 im September 2024) Sauberkeit: alles top. NEUTRAL: Check-in: erfolgte sehr nett durch eine Frau mit spanischem Akzent. Zufahrt: teilweise einspurig und über recht steile Stellen Bad: Abstellmöglichkeiten nur in Schrank unter Waschbecken Schlafzimmer: recht klein. Es bleibt Platz für eine mittelgroße Reisetasche; sonstiges Gepäck muss man im Wohnzimmer lagern. Check-Out: Müll muss selbst auf dem Gelände entsorgt werden; Betten sind abzuziehen; Spülmaschine zu aktivieren. NEGATIV: Heizung: im Wohnraum/Küche nur erreichbar, wenn man unter den Tisch krabbelt. Schlafzimmer: das einzige Licht am Bett war extrem hell und zum Lesen nicht geeignet. Schlüssel: es gibt keine Chipkarte, sondern einen großen unhandlichen Schlüsselanhänger. Unsere Cabin war die letzten Meter nur über matschiges Gras und dann über Stufen erreichbar; was bei schwererem Gepäck nicht ideal ist. FAZIT: Wir waren skeptisch, ob die Cabin den Eindruck der Fotos im Internet hält. Sie tat es. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die obigen Kritikpunkte betreffen eher Kleinigkeiten. Klare Empfehlung für die Unterkunft.

As we drive towards the fjord, hang a sharp left down towards the campsite, we're greeted by Geraingerfjorden Feriesenter many cabins. Maria checked us in, and is very helpful to suggest activities. We took the boat for a two hours cruising in the calm fjord waters. Great view od waterfalls, we had two cruise ships made port call. We had a two bedrooms cabin, plenty of space, lounge and dining area, a patio overlooking the fjord. Pity it was raining a fair whence no too conducive to sit on patio to enjoy the view. Kitchen is well equipped.

Deluxe cabin was amazing. Kitchen is better than ours at home. Incredible view from inside cabin and on large porch. Cabins were quiet despite proximity to busy camping area. Staff is very helpful. Relaxing respite from the chaos of the town when the iron leviathans are in port.

We stayed in 8 different places during our Norway trip and this 2 night stay was our favorite. The cabins are perfect. Everything was new and they were well stocked. We liked being outside of Geiranger just a little bit because it was so quiet. We spent hours sitting on the deck staring at the fjord. They staff was very helpful and friendly, too. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at the Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter! The view was stunning, the cabins were new, clean, fresh, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was lovely to wake up with a view of the G fjord!! The staff was amazing and very helpful! We highly recommend staying here!

We had three nights here in a self contained cabin that looked right up the fiord. We were right by the water. Everything was perfect and it was spotlessly clean. We could sit outside on the deck and admire the amazing fiord. It is great being a little out of town where it is much more peaceful especially when the cruise ship is in. Thank you for a very special stay.

We rented the premium cabin for 4 people for 3 nights. The cabin was spotless and sleek. It is located right on the fjord. The common room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The dishwasher was greatly appreciated. The ferry in town is about 2 kilometers away.

Pasamos dos noches en una de las cabañas, y la verdad es que estuvo genial. Las cabañas tienen todo lo necesario para la estancia, son cómodas y con una terraza con vistas al fiordo maravillosa. Tiene también lavadora y secadora de pago en la zona comun, que nos vino muy bien. Tambien tienen lanchas de alquiler, que conduces tu mismo, y fue una experiencia inolvidable, recorrer el fiordo a nuestro aire. A nosotros nos gusto mucho, pero a nuestro hijo mas aun. Además, aparcas justo alado de la cabaña, que es muy cómodo a la llegada y a la salida. También hicimos la excursión a la catarata Storsæterfossen , por la que puedes pasar por detrás. Y una mención especial a la chica de la recepción, que fue encantadora con nosotros, y nos resolvió todas las dudas que tuvimos.

We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin for two nights and our experience was perfect, even the weather! The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including a beautiful view of the fjord. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, particularly Sandra and Kevin, who were friendly and assisted us in renting a boat for a wonderful trip around the fjord, where we saw stunning waterfalls. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Geiranger, as the location, view, and accommodation were all perfect.
