The hotel's infrastructure is in a good sanitation environment and it is difficult to find a parking space in the city center. Synchronize with friends to book two rooms of the same standard and at the same price. But the two rooms are a world apart, one room is spacious and bright, and the evening room service and small gifts are available. The other room is extremely rudimentary and has no service. The most unbearable thing is that one of the rooms did not have a TV remote control. The reply I received after calling the front desk was that there was no way to solve it. A four-star hotel doesn't even have a spare TV remote control. Even if there is no spare remote control, the service staff can take one from the vacant room. The front desk staff was arrogant and lacking courtesy. I will never stay again next time.

We recently stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 and 5). Booking was seamless and easy bar some confusion over whether breakfast was or wasn't included. The hotel is in a phenomenal location in Petite France, however bear in mind as it is on a pedestrianized street there is very limited parking at the property. This isn't an issue as there is a public garage close by and the hotel has a subsidized rate of €18.50/night. The building itself is beautiful and historic with plenty of period detail. The rooms are old but well equipped and clean and they have character(wooden floors/beams etc.) Ours was a family room so there was a set of bunks which the children really loved. The added benefit of a Nespresso machine also went down well with the caffeine addict parents. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. There were plenty of towels provided and the hotel toiletries were of decent quality. There were only small niggles within a great overall stay. Namely a lack of seating and supplies at breakfast on both mornings and also our room wasn't cleaned even though we had requested it and we had been out for 6 hours. Overall would recommend and stay again.

The room was a normal size and the bed was comfortable. Some of the furnishing seemed a bit worn but nothing serious just cosmetic. The shower was lovely. Location is good, only 10mins walk from the main part of Strasbourg there is also a tram stop right outside the hotel which is very convienient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room got cleaned every morning.

Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

The hotel is affordable, stylish and comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional. They speak multiple languages. They welcome your well behaved dog and provide treats and dog bowls. Great location, spacious rooms. This room has a small kitchen, a set of utensils, a refrigerator, and an electric stove. A large and comfortable bed, clean sheets, a combined bathroom, all the equipment in the bathroom are in good condition, and the hot water pressure is good. I really wanted to love this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was very good. However, I’d recommend either staying elsewhere or be willing to pay a premium rate with the most robust cancellation options possible. I had a pay for an extra unused day, because I had to leave early (early enough to make the appropriate checkout time) due to a pending French rail strike and had to ensure I got to where I needed to for my international flight. I explained this to the hotel staff. Despite events beyond my control and even some French officials encouraging people to make alternative travel arrangements to avoid disruptions, this was of absolutely no concern to the hotel staff, and they absolutely will not work with you…it will be just a way to make some more money off of you. I would’ve been happy to give 5 stars in normal circumstances, but it felt like the hotel was more interested in taking advantage of a situation even if it was beyond my control, and it really left an overall bad impression.

We had an overall wonderful experience in the Hotel Beaucour. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and the interior of our room was cozy. The location was perfect; nestled in a beautiful neighborhood with cafés/bars/restaurants in front of your doorstep and right by the river, it is just a 3-min walk from the cathedral and the city centre. A parking lot is just opposite and the price is slightly reduced for hotel guests. We would definitely stay here again when returning to Strasbourg.
