"This is the second time I have visited this hotel this year. The first time was in May and the second in December. I absolutely loved everything about the hotel the first time but the second time was a disaster. We were allocated the worst room in the hotel with a window that looked out onto a wall just a few feet away and the decor was rough and depressing. Thankfully they let us have a different room the following day but this should never have happened. There was a very brash tall lady who wore glasses on reception who was rude, ignorant and officious with me which spoiled my holiday. Restaurant staff, porters and housekeeping staff were great. We will never return I'm afraid. Gerry"

"The hotel appears to be a converted old building; its exterior is simple and unpretentious, but the interior is nicely decorated in a minimalist German style. The staff were all quite friendly. The breakfast was purely Western-style, cold and not really suitable for Chinese guests. The value for money was very low. A particularly unpleasant aspect wasn't related to the hotel itself. I booked a room a few days in advance through Ctrip for 3840 yuan per night. Later, due to my child's studies, I wanted to delay my check-in by one day, which required an additional 64 euros, which I agreed to. On the way to the hotel, I checked the price and it was only 2400 yuan. Since it was booked through a local agent via Ctrip, and the agent's contracted rate might have special offers for major holidays, a difference of 1400 yuan is unlikely for ordinary dates. I felt ripped off. Over 4000 yuan for a simple, four-star-like hotel for one night."

"Disappointing Stay with Poor Service at Premium Prices Pros: - None worth mentioning Cons: - Front desk staff extremely rude and unprofessional - Long waiting times (almost an hours) for basic amenities - Multiple calls needed for simple requests like blanket and oxygen water refills - Basic items (water, tissue paper) not restocked - Room has bad odor - Inconvenient location, far from attractions - Poor value for money considering the premium rates Not recommended for any type of traveler. The service issues start at the front desk and continue throughout every aspect of the stay. Basic requests require multiple follow-ups and hours of waiting. What makes this experience particularly unacceptable is that this is marketed as a premium hotel with high rates 4 stars here. The location adds to the inconvenience, being far from main attractions. Save your money and choose another hotel where basic customer service and amenities are properly provided. Would not stay here again."

If you're driving, it's quite convenient to park if you book a spot in advance, but the car size shouldn't be too large as the parking lot is a bit small. The road leading to the hotel is a bit complex, so it's best to inquire with the hotel beforehand for clear directions."

"Great location, nice for young people and solo travelers. We stayed in a private room with one big bed and the room was a pleasant surprise. Although, there are not a lot of plugs in the room (only two and one in the bathroom), chromecast is the only option on the TV and it didn’t work."
