Good and Perfect

It's a very nice, quaint hotel located right on the Cathedral square. Rooms are comfortable, excellent breakfast at the hotel, and very friendly and accommodating staff. As seen from several of the posted pictures, the front rooms have a stunning view of the Cathedral, which is so close it almost feels like you could touch it. The only caution would be that the outstanding view overlooking the square and the cathedral does come with quite a bit of noise. The good news is that the windows do a superb job blocking the noise. But if you like to sleep with the windows open, the crowd noise lasts until past midnight, there is some pedestrian noise all night long, and the cathedral bells only shut down after 10PM and resume 7AM the following day (which is not all that unreasonable).

This is nowhere close to a four star hotel. It is closer to two stars, not even that. The room we were given had a worn out carpet with holes in it that was barely acceptable of any type of habitation let alone a hotel. The view and proximity to the cathedral and Christmas markets are the only positives. There's no lift to take luggage to the first floor so please beware if you have any mobility issues. Also there's a fellow at reception during the evening who gives the hotel a bad reputation by being abrupt and rude to guests. Oh and there was no remote control for the TV and when we told them about it they said they couldn't provide an alternative! One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in to be honest with you. It needs a total refit and refurb to be advertised as a four star hotel.

Unbeatable view of the cathedral from our room and the breakfast room. Breakfast is very affordable and delicious. Bed was extremely comfortable but the room is definitely on the small side - they do make great use of space. As other reviews have noted there is a spiral staircase from the ground floor to the first floor and then an elevator but there was a very nice staff member that assisted us with our bags. Easy baggage check so we could continue exploring after checkout. Amazing location for Christmas markets.

Room old, worn, under the eaves, extremely small - when informed weren't happy with room, staff was indifferent, suggested other hotels if this didn't work, we asked to change room, said couldn't

The location right next to the Cathedral is unbeatable and the staff are kind and friendly. It's a lovely little boutique hotel with character - beams, higgley-piggledy staircases. Charming! Our new bathroom was fantastic with a great shower and 2 large sinks. We loved our stay here!

Staff was extremely rude and told me to leave the property and find a different place to stay on a Friday night during Christmas market busy period, They told me very rudely to stay somewhere else as they saw my younger kid with me and were not ready to give me the room. They made me pay 200 Euros in addition on the spot in order to let me stay even after paying such a huge amount for reserving the room in the first place. We were helpless and paid the money else we had no where else to go. I want my full refund

This hotel is located in one of the most beautiful squares i have ever visited. the view of the cathedral is immense! The location is just so convenient, although busy during the Christmas markets it was just perfect! The room was small but clean, cosy, and very warm. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we came back to Strasbourg. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the lcoation is what made this hotel 5 stars!
