Parker House Suites

VERY DISAPPOINTED -- both in the property and in the owner's crap attitude. This property is advertised as a "3 star hotel". It is NOT even close -- at best, it's a 2 star MOTEL (since the door going outside is in the bedroom.... well, ONLY room, so not a "suite", either. And, really, 1 star is more accurate). The shower (no tub) is one of those cheap curved modular things -- discolored with moldy looking caulk -- but the bathroom is huge, so they obviously went for the cheap. Baffling. There is also a FAKE bar on the door -- it doesn't close. Doesn't lock. Why is it there -- except to deceive people looking online? (See picture). The windows have cheap plastic blinds with thin curtains that do nothing to block out light -- especially important since the porch light was on ALL. NIGHT. I threw a towel over the window in the door -- helped some, but it was still bright enough to read a book without any interior lights on. (See picture). When I told the owner my concerns, her reply was basically 'well, it's cheap' -- implying that I should have known it wasn't really a 3 star hotel as advertised. Aside from the disgusting shower (which I didn't use), the place was pretty clean. So there's that. Your money will be better spent at Motel 6. At least you know what you're getting there (and it won't be any worse than this place).

What a great spot to stay the night,: roomy, clean, tastefully decorated. We had a great sleep! The staff responded promptly with answers to our questions. Checking in was a breeze. Look forward to our next visit.

All the conveniences of home, very clean, easy access and parking. Well set up and comfortable. All appliances etc worked, air conditioning is floor unit so a bit noisy. We stayed in the basement suite so basement small windows as expected.

We spent two nights at the Parker House Hotel Suites. We stayed in the Elm Suite. It was comfortable and well equipped. The location was ideal and we could not have asked for anything more. The bed was comfortable, the touch of chocolates and robes was lovely. The bathroom was huge and well equipped as was the kitchenette area, including cooking utensils and dishes etc. The outdoor veranda was nice to sit on and we appreciated it.
