Standard hotel. But great service and the location is suberb. Great seaview and jumping salmon a few meters from the hotel. Rooms and breakfast is decent, but the location makes everything for this place. Make sure to book with harbour view. Will stay again if in the area.

My wife and I were traveling through Norway when an acquaintance suggested that we stay at this hotel. We had no expectations,however it was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at while traveling throughout Scandinavia .We had a spectacular view of the fjord and adjacent marina right outside of our window. The hotel staff is exceptional, food was great and there was a certain charm to this hotel that is hard to find elsewhere in Norway. There is something very special going on here that is hard to put into words.As I sat on my deck overlooking the fjord I could see salmon jumping and a there was a multitude of seabirds which made my stay all that much special. PK, the hotel general manager could not have have done more for us. There is much to do activity wise near the hotel and if you enjoy hiking,kayaking,fishing, nature, exploring and adventure this is most definitely a place to stay . Rooms are very comfortable,clean and fresh.Staff was vey friendly and well trained. I highly recommend and cannot wait to return!
