Check in didn't take long because I pre registered already. Complimentary coffee while waiting for our room key. We stayed in the executive suite and it was very spacious. With a separate tv room and desk where you can work. Bedroom also has a tv and a king bed. Two bathrooms made it easy to take a bath. Had a teppanyaki dinner at Yurakuen and the food was great and the service awesome. The breakfast buffet at Corniche had a lot of options. Check out was fast because we were allowed to check out late. Over all a great stay.

DISGUSTING food ended up with poisoning. Shower was broken, sink was blocked. My balcony view was a block of flats so I had a man watching me from his window! Staff were unhelpful and miserable, save your money do not stay at hotel Diamond.

Wouldn't Return to Diamond Hotel or Sunny Beach for that matter. The hotel looked very impressive on arrival and our rooms were nice. Housekeeping did a great job every day cleaning. The food was just OK. Breakfast was a joke. One toaster for the whole restaurant which ment there was always a queue. When you eventually got the toast you always had a queue at the egg station which ment you either had cold toast or cold eggs. Lots of salad, very limited fruit and what was there was rock solid and inedible and you are unsure if it was washed. Dinner every day was some sort of chicken. Some sort of pork and also fish. It was never very hot. Lots of rice, some chips and sometimes potatoes. The desserts we saw in hotel pictures were not there at all. Each meal there was some sort of huge cake cut into bite sized pieces. Sometimes they were green sometimes red and sometimes chocolate. It was almost impossible to get a table. We usually set out our cutlery and a glass of water and went for our food and a lot of times it was removed when we went back. The staff were so rude. My friend went looking for a cup and was dismissed by staff saying "no no finished". We did complain to management about this but it really made no difference. The pool bar, if you could call it that, was a shack. It was dirty and very unappealing. It had a couple of huge bottles of local alcohol, a beer tap and horrible mixers on tap. If you wanted a cocktail it was a red or green slushy with a shot of alcohol thrown in. The restaurant staff were smoking beside the bar and beer kegs and boxes blocked the stairs and it smelled horrible. Alex who worked in the pool bar was the only nice member of staff we met. The electricity went in the hotel one night and the water another. The water was gone for hours so no toilets flushing no water for breakfast or tea/coffee. When we asked at reception what the problem was we were told with the hand waving gestures "the whole town" which was not the case as we had breakfast in Danjo at the back of the hotel and they had water. You couldn't get a drink in the bar at the front of the hotel no matter what you did. I stood there for ages looking for a cocktail menu with two bar staff on talking and chatting to each other and no customers in the place. 3 times we tried on different occasions and it was the same thing. We sat outside one night prepared to buy a decent drink and we were dismissed with more hand waving "not all inclusive" shocking, we just left. The shop in the hotel..... well check the date on everything that's all I can say about that. My advice.. go to another hotel. Don't go here.

Just finished two weeks end of September from six weeks over last year. Obviously closing for end of season when entertainment finished after two day's witch was good on previous visits. I protested to the policy of putting cold food on top of nearly empty Bain Marie's then expect food to heat up. I looked at this procedure after me my wife and several guests being taken ill with gastroenteritis and one gest being admitted to hospital twice in two weeks while we were there. I was told it was going round Sunny Beach. The food management wants to be taken into completely different hand with food regulations abided byespecially the gide lines for serving hot food. You have a good hotel with good food served badly.

Start with a couple of positive the hotel is very clean and the pool area is lovely. Now for the negative, the food is absolutely shocking not edible at all had d&v by Tuesday night arrived the Monday, most of the staff are rude apart from the housekeepers they are lovely, the guy who works the pool bar is as miserable as grumpy from Snow White. They was a group of younger ladies playing inappropriate music by the pool very loudly where children was not great when you want to relax. Definitely not worth its 4 start status at all this is some looking at. Very pool hotel do not recommend at all stay well clear

This is by far the worse place. I read previous reviews & the bad ones are correct, majority of hotel had food poisoning, the bar snack staff bloke rude unless your German or any other race bar english, air conditioning is broken 😂, when you speak to reception they don’t speak English then polish/Germans start speaking to them in English and they understand weird, this hotel should actually be shut down if I was the owner I’d be ashamed of it disgusting dirty place full of knobs Alcohol is rank as hell also. And on all inclusive I wouldn’t bother as all that’s included is food poisoning and dirty drink no soft drinks they’re flat and warm. Smells like sewage and chip fat. Snack bar closes before its ment to as the bloke cba. Staff sit and get drunk end of the night with their mates never seen anything like it.i would not recommend this to anyone do not skip the reviews as the bad ones are right!

No air con all week. No entertainment apart from 2 games of darts for the whole week. Cold food dirty microwave. Rude staff. Terrible experience and no apology when discussing and of the issues with the staff. Had to ask for towels one evening also as not 1 had been left in the room

Il start by making it clear that I've been to Bulgaria numerous times and stayed at budget hotels... My expectations are not high.. and we only really ever wanted a base. Having said that this hotel fails at all the basics! The staff were unbelievably rude. I have never known rudeness like it and this is the first time I've experienced it in Bulgaria. We arrived around 5pm, so at 6pm we went for food. I asked a waiter for a small gin.. I asked him to stop at a certain point he stood there and laughed as he filled it to the top. When I asked for Lemonade I was asked to go to the pool bar. I was in the restaurant why would I want to go to the pool bar for a drink!!?? We went to get some food which was completely inedible. Cold.. minimal choice. Breakfast was just about edible however the fresh egg station was not fresh. The drinks choices were poor. Miminal choice.. poor quality. After then we only ate breakfast and ate out the rest of the time. We also brought drinks from the local supermarkets to drink round the pool. Although it's not expensive to eat and drink out. When you've paid for all inclusive you would expect to beable to utilise it! The guests who were staying at the hotel were rude and played music through speakers ridiculously loud around the pool. When I'm there to relax I don't want to listen to your s*&t music thank you very much! There was groups of young adults who spent the whole trip inhailing helium from balloons! Apparently that's a thing.. Who knew.. ! (For the record I'm 37 so not completely over the hill). The air con In the room never worked while we were there.. After chatting to other guests this was a problem throughout the hotel so I'm assuming this was switched off with it being the end of season. The biggest issue with this hotel is the fact that tourists who had never stayed in Bulgaria were stating they would never return because of the disaster that is this hotel! So please please do not think this is normal in Bulgaria! I can assure you it isn't. The only plus about this hotel was the upkeep and cleanliness! Avoid
