Barcelo Royal Beach - All Inclusive ★★★★★

"Location of this hotel is a 10 minute walk to Flower Street and the beach. It has a Mall to the side of the hotel but none of this was open when we stayed. (15-27th May) which was a shame but I guess we were just too early. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere in the hotel main lobby where there were lots of chairs in to meet friends etc. but…. On the 26th May, piped music was played and was a lot more jollier than it was before that. The room we had was very spacious. D802 it was on the 8th floor so great views! It had everything you need regarding plugs etc and the bed was very comfy (and I’m very fussy) and the cleaners changed the towels everyday & emptied the bins. The bedding was changed numerous times on our 12 day stay. The big negative was that the aircon was stuck on 25° (hot) it was sweltering. We asked the front desk (Toder the manager) for it to be resolved & a guy was sent with us straight away to have a look at it. He fiddled with the buttons & told us that the air con would work once the temp of the room came down from the 25°……. It did not. It made me feel very ill. On returning to the lobby, the 3 men there thought it was very funny. I wasn’t amused. Even though we came just out of high season the price was reasonable. We didn’t wait for the bus to & from the airport. We paid for a taxi when we booked the hotel. The pool looked lovely but by 4pm flocks of seagulls made it their bath time which put me off getting in for a swim. The seagulls also used the children’s pools for their bathtime. The pool bar was not consistent at all with the bar in the lobby saying that this drink or that couldn’t be made. I found the bar staff to be rude, just ignoring you & preferred to be chatting to one another at the end of the bar. That is all except for Todor (very tall Todor- not the manager at reception) he was great. Thanks Todor! The lobby bar was lovely (just a shame the music wasn’t playing until the end of holiday) Tanya & Nialli (so sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly) were so lovely, they always welcomed warmly. And asked if we were having a nice time. They work so hard but were always cheerful & pleasant. They’re a credit to your Hotel! The food I found very plentiful and delicious! Sometimes certain foods were on the cool side but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed tasting different dishes that were available. The fresh fruit section was very appetising and also the breakfast was super."

"1st of all if you want to stay in this hotel you will be making a great choice but if your veggie avoid dinner no options apart from chips.. The cleanness of this hotel is 2nd to none rooms spot less very clean room size is extally what you need also have shower that is perfect don't want a bath in the late July heat... Rooms cleaned everyday 5* for rooms and how clean they are The only disappointment is the food no Vegratian I'm afraid if you don't eat meat it will be chips for you so don't book evening meal.. If your are a meat eater this is the perfect choice for you.... I have stayed in hotels all over the world and in this beautiful hotel I have never been treated as good by all the staff than here nothing is ever to much for them so so helpful I just want to name 3 in no particular order on reception Tatyana is the most amazing helpful knowledgeable and goes out her way to make sure that everything you need or require is done in a instant... Pavel the bar man is the most friendly helpful kind and such a fantastic person to have around the hotel always has a smile on his face and willing to do anything he can to make sure all your needs are met.. Last but not least stelios the new manager runs an amazing hotel takes the time to talk to you only been here a year and has made it into an fantastic hotel everything you can think of he has sorted and with the team behind this hotel will only get better and better thank you stelios and all the amazing team you have... The location couldn't be better only a couple of min walk to the beach and the main shops only 10 mins further the hotel is slightly out the way of the main part meaning that quietness is guaranteed... A perfect night sleep with no loud bangs people coming in drunk banging doors in early hours you will not find here you will sleep sound with no disturbances... Just a quick note if you are english there are a few foreign guests staying here and I've experienced a few times them swearing and been a bit aggressive towards you but that is not a big issue it's mainly around breakfast and dinner time.. To sum it up this is a fantastic hotel that is great value so don't be put off by the price with the new manager this hotel is only going higher and higher.. Without the staff this hotel would just be a bog standard cheap getaway.. Here your going have a great times beer 1.60 € a pint.. Just to say again the staff make this hotel amazing do not be put off by the current star rating this hotel is moving up fast so book it now while you can... Amzing hotel amzing pool fantastic staff exctally what you need at an amzing price.. Believe me you will not be disappointed.. Definitely 5* from me can't wait to return in September already booked.. Just an amzing relaxing break where if you want a quiet no noise this is the hotel for you, Thank you everyone so so much and I can't wait to see you all again very soon... James"

"Fantastic Week – Would Definitely Recommend! We’ve just arrived home after a fantastic week at Secrets Sunny Beach Resort & Spa, and we had a brilliant experience from start to finish. We travelled as a family of four – myself and my wife, along with our daughter and her boyfriend – and the hotel was a great choice for all of us. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, modern and very well looked after. I’d say 99.9% of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and they work incredibly hard to make sure guests enjoy their stay. We paid the small additional cost for the Preferred Club experience, and for us it was definitely worth it. The extra touches and additional benefits really added to the holiday and made the whole experience feel that little bit better. The pool area is huge, with plenty of sunbeds. Even during a busy August week, we never had any problems finding somewhere. The pool was perhaps a tiny bit on the cold side, but once the sun got hot it was actually very refreshing! The pool bar is also a great spot, overlooking the beach and sea. One of the biggest positives was the food and service. There was a very good selection throughout our stay, with plenty of variety and enough choice to cater for different tastes. The staff always tried to do and offer as much as they could. Location-wise, we thought it was excellent, as just outside main areas but within easy reach. There are some good bars and entertainment within a short walk, while Flower Street and Nessebar are both easily accessible by a short taxi or bus ride. Overall, we had a fantastic week’s holiday and came home with very positive memories. Great hotel, huge pool, excellent location, plenty of food choices and, most importantly, friendly and hardworking staff. "After reading mixed reviews I was very unsure what to expect however the hotel is exactly like the picture so instagramable and beautiful. It is very clean and stafff are lovely and will go above and beyond. Manegment is always happy to help and is a great individual. There are plenty of sunbeds and never been a time we don’t get one. Music is always on round the pool which is lovely. Hammocks and swings to chill on and even take beautiful pictures. The rooms are so spacious and clean, bedding always changed and rooms cleaned everyday. The food is lovely, omelettes made fresh to request and also fresh pasta dishes. Snack bar always has plenty of choice too pizza, burger, chips, brioche sandwiches and ice cream. 10/10 hotel for me and will 100% be back. The town is very lovley and a little train ride from a one minute walk from hotel for 6lv. Town is beautiful nice restaurants and amazing cocktails. The beach is a 2 min walk from hotel which is also very lovley with nice views and bars. The hotel does art classes, cooking classes yoga everyday to join in with. I can’t even explain how lovely it is for the price it’s unreal. Will be back for sure as it’s one of my fave places I’ve come. Jodie x"
