Hotel & Spa Diamant Residence - All Inclusive

Hotel was very clean and close to the beach. Most of the staff are not friendly and do not speak English, with the exception of the cleaning lady and the animation team. Food was monotonous and there was little to do in the area. 1st time and won't do it again.

After staying 11 days at the hotel I was able to form an opinion which is divided between positive and negative. Positive: - The hotel and rooms are very clean. The rooms are quite spacious. - The money exchange in the hotel is the best place to change your money. - Wifi works (only in the entrance hall) - In the restaurant. The servers quickly remove the dishes, which prevents the table from being filled with plates. Negative: - The staff is surely in the top 5 of the most unpleasant people in the hotel industry. If you are unfortunate enough to ask the staff a question, they will respond coldly and look at you as if you are bothering them. - Although the food is more or less varied, it quickly gets cold, which is unpleasant when we eat. - Concerning the animators. Even if they give everything to create an atmosphere. They give the impression of not knowing what to do and not being energetic enough. - Advice for elevators. Take the stairs it will go much faster. - Some staff members speak English and others not at all. I advise you to brush up on your Bulgarian if you want to communicate easily with staff members. - If you are used to private hotel beaches. Here, this is not the case. So take beach towels, parasols, etc. with you. If you don't want to rent 15€ deckchair + parasols every time you go. - So the towels for the swimming pool... I'll tell you right away where they are because the staff is not able to indicate. It is located to the left of the pool bar. If you're lucky, the guy will be there straight away. Otherwise you will wait 20 minutes. Here is my opinion after this stay. Lots of negatives which means I will never return to this hotel.

We stayed 12 days in this hotel. - Upon arriving, the person responsible for the luggage saw the bus arrive, looked at us and turned around directly to return to the hotel. We had to take out our suitcases and fend for ourselves. - Arriving at the reception, the reception was very very cold, no smile, we received our access card and this famous manager guided us to the elevator to tell us the room number and again fend for themselves. - The restaurant, if you arrive first for service, ok the tables are set, if unfortunately you arrive thirty minutes later, the table is no longer set, and we have to manage to find cutlery, napkins, finally train ourselves. -The exchange, there the gentleman is very very very cold, after a few days, by changing a larger sum, we were treated to a grin - The swimming pool, many deckchairs, few places to pass and not enough parasols - The staff was unfriendly, maybe their culture, but a few years ago, I went to Varna at the Boléro hotel, where it was paradise. A smile, just a smile would have made the difference

After reading quite negative reviews we were a little doubtful about the score of this establishment. I can confirm that this hotel is really good and you will have a good stay there. The rooms are spacious and clean, with towels changed daily. It is true that the TV screen is small but I found a music channel there which made me happy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even very smiling. The restaurant is pleasant with fabric tablecloths morning, noon and evening. The food is served as a buffet, always with a large choice of different dishes. The only criticism is that sometimes the food is no longer very hot but a microwave is available to customers. To my great satisfaction I confirm that the Coke is indeed real Coca-Cola and not an undrinkable mixture already experienced in another hotel in the region. The only slightly negative aspect of this hotel is its location a little far from the shops and nightlife of Sunny Beach. Buses stop in front of the hotel and for 1 euro you can avoid walking 3 or 4 km! In summary, I can only recommend this hotel and I can only refute the negative opinions of certain customers.

Doesn't even deserve a star. The worst hotel in my life. I don't even know where to start. The buffet can be. Even in the hospital canteen, it's better. So of course, there is a choice but everything is filthy. ALL. Poor quality food, disgusting, cold fries, I'll spare you the details of the festivities. Not to mention the customers who put their hands up and help themselves to the dishes. Like this man who decided to plunge his hand into the bowl of melon to taste and put back in the same bowl his started piece… we warned the manager of the hotel, an execrable woman, who had the only answer: "I can't be behind all the customers." Of which act. If you like wine, buy your bottle at the local supermarket, because here they cut it with water. And when we asked them, they said, "we're not chemists and the other customers like it." Go figure… What about the swimming pool? You will appreciate it if you like line 13 at rush hour. People on top of each other, we are literally glued to each other, not enough deckchairs for everyone. Children who can't swim will enjoy splashing around in a metal cage. Literally ! Not to mention the people who eat and drink all day and throw their half-opened plates and glasses everywhere. It's unbelievably filthy. The wifi does not work, wherever you are in the hotel. The rooms are not soundproofed, the din of the swimming pool from 9am, impossible to sleep. Hotel located on a huge avenue, super noisy and far from everything, you absolutely need a car to get around. No charm, it's depressing. I'm not talking about the cheap and bling decor, low-end beauty salon style, everyone has their own tastes, that may appeal, but not to us. The beach is a 10-minute walk away and the hotel does not have assigned umbrellas. Good luck finding a place in these conditions. We, it's simple, we've never succeeded. Sunny Beach is not the most authentic destination in Bulgaria, but if you still want to go there, there are much less cheap places, like in the old town of Nesebar, a few kilometers away. The worst hotel in my life, without exaggeration. Run away, that's the only wise advice I can offer you. Because in the event of a problem in the hotel, whatever it is, the obnoxious manager will answer you tirelessly: "No one is complaining, so I will not bend to your worries. “Never seen someone so incompetent. So execrable. Not to mention the fact that they blocked our room for us one afternoon on our way back from the beach. Our card no longer worked. Asking the reason at the reception, here is their answer: "your identity card was not registered in our database (although we had given them at check in and we paid EVERYTHING when we arrived on first day) and we wanted to force you to give it back to us then

The food had no taste at all and there was absolutely no variation every day, so after a few days we ended up eating outside the hotel. The room was spacious and that was all, it was not cleaned, only beds were made and towels changed. We had a family room (5 people) and had a balcony where you could just stand on 2 people. The staff was not really friendly and the people behind the pool bar could not make a cocktail, not even one cocktail was drinkable. There was very little to do in the vicinity of the hotel, you have to take a taxi to experience anything anywhere. This hotel was definitely not recommended for us.

In our opinion, the hotel is worth recommending, definitely deserves 4 stars. We got a nice room overlooking the pool. Very good service, speaking English and German. Overall it was very clean. Cleaning and change of towels daily. The food was good, we especially enjoyed the themed evening with Bulgarian cuisine. In addition, a plus for animations and aquafit classes in the pool. If I had a gripe it would be the bed as there was supposed to be one large king size bed and instead it was two singles pushed together. Still, it was comfortable.
