I always like to write reviews and im very honest and not one to complain at all. However this hotel was a real let down and we did not enjoy our holiday at all. The grounds and surrounding are absolutely stunning but that’s probably the only positive I have to say. The pool areas and sunbeds are plenty, and clean but very cold but given the time of year to be expected. The rooms were outdated, our bedding was never changed, we went in September so expected it to be a bit cooler but the aircon in the room didn’t blow hot, and we had no blanket other than a duvet without a cover so we were cold every night. I go on around 4 holidays a year and have travelled the world and I have to say The staff are the most miserable staff I have ever experienced. Everthing felt like an inconvenience, it was blatenly obvious to us it was end of season as the staff were miserable, and most unhelpful! God forbid you needed to ask for something as you were either ignored, shrugged off or spoken to awfully. I’m very easily pleased when it comes to food , and I could not eat all week, I literally ate soup for every meal as the all inclusive selection was either cold, wierd choices or the cheapest cuts of meats like pork neck. They had ‘mixed grill’ the one day which I thought I would try, to find a ‘chicken’ style mush and raw sausage!!! We played the mini golf which was good however you do have to pay additionally for this, 10€ each. The drinks are very watered down and unenjoyable, we always take flasks with us on holiday to save multiple trips to the bar and I avoided going up and sent my partner as I felt every time that I was an inconvenience doing this. I can’t comment on entertainment in the evening , there was nothing around the pool or areas during the day or night but I think there was things on in the auditorium. The main ***** is around a 30 minute from along the promenade, but there are plenty of shops and bars along the way and is a nice walk. The beach is a stones throw away from the hotel which is also pleasant too. Overall a very disappointing hotel and holiday, this is our third time to Bulgaria and has put me off Bulgaria completely.

This is our first time at majestic hotel, we travelled with Tui, hotel is very clean infact spotless, we were on 5th floor pool/Seaview room was clean but basic no problems at all with it, cleaned everyday mini bar topped up everyday if empty. Pool area was beautiful pool was cool but perfect for hot day, some days were a struggle for sunbed but hotel did try put more out Food... well there was plenty on offer but we struggled at times as not our liking and was repeated every other day, mind food was available all day just about. Drinks were fine couldn't fault them cocktails were lovely, spirits were fine ,Entertainment was none existing for a five star alinclusive, only thing that let hotel down in my opinion, which is why we never stayed in hotel on a night time.Staff were very friendly, Beach is beautiful step out the hotel and ya on the beach. All in all lovely hotel yes we would return.

Hi so travelled to this hotel on like a girls long weekend on arrival the gentleman on reception was very helpful the hotel was stunning it was very clean the pools were amazing lots of padded sun beds so had no need to get up early in the morning. The drinks I found were very sweet especially the cocktails there was one night when they did a pina colada station that was very good . The entertainment was done inside we only watched it one night so can’t really give much feedback but what we saw was not the best there was one night where they did the entertainment outside like a pool party that was great but to be honest there was a lot of bars just outside the complex which was great. So food it’s not the best but it’s not the worst the only thing I couldn’t understand was when they brought a tray of new food why was it cold and the soup was always cold but one good thing was the pizzas I think the hotel should look at the food side as there are a lot of people complaining about the food . Would I come back to this hotel yes I would just hope the food would be better overall we had a fantastic time at this hotel so please don’t worry you will have a great time.

Never been to Bulgaria, won't be going back, rude staff, no one smiles, cold food and dribs and drabs to choose from, lots of people complaining about awful food, food ran out, no entertainment, drinks flat apart from becks, family room for 2 people OK good but view awful, everywhere closing down, best part of our much needed holiday was the weather, and the pool but that was freezing, a smile from the 2 men at pool bar but that's it, glad we're home, sorry if this upsets but it cost us a lot of hard earned money and we expected more... Don't bother

We stayed at the DIT Majestic Beach Resort in Sunny Beach and were left very disappointed. The grounds are beautiful, rooms really well set up and kept, and the location is ideal. However, smoking and food/drink are a massive issue for this place. The pool area is full of smokers, even with signage to state no smoking. There are designated smoking areas but these are ignored and ash trays taken to the sun loungers. The staff even walk past and converse with those smoking in the pool area but don’t raise the point of no smoking. We also contact hotel management who said that they couldn’t control the 1000 guests and that we should try to find a spot around the pool without smokers. Smoking is a big issue for this hotel, as they have smoking around the best social part of the hotel by the hotel lobby bar and the whole area just smells of smoke including the hotel lobby itself. I would only recommend this hotel to those who like to smoke all day long. The food was also incredibly disappointing. The selection was poor, standard was not particularly great and most signage for the food options was wrong or misleading. They have an Asian restaurant you can join as part of the all inclusive option, and we expected this to be a highlight but in fact the food was even worse than the main food hall and the duck was so undercooked it was questionable. We heard many guests complain about the food and like us they had to eat out more than ever expected. The food highlight whilst there was McDonald’s which is not what you should have to expect for a holiday at a beach resort. The fizzy drinks were also nearly always flat and undrinkable. There was also no signs of life around the place at night, with the pool area bar closed at night after a couple of days which was disappointing. The staff also won’t tell you they’re closing, they’ll just switch the lights off. Also charging for mini golf seemed a little strange for an all inclusive. Not much to say about the staff, some were pleasant however the reception staff were not very helpful and the Guest Relation Manager is the least helpful of all staff and a bit rude which was again disappointing. The best parts about the holiday were the room, pool and nearby Old Nessebar. Overall, certainly not a 4 star hotel, and this place should be reviewed again soon as it is one to avoid in its current state.

The hotel is quite drab inside and the majority of the staff are miserable, especially the dining room . Sexist to say the women have to be elegant !!! You should have seen what some women wore . We had the daily row over flip flops no consistency … letting guests in wearing anything !!! Rude some staff Food disgusting!! Ran out of food at certain times . Sunny beach is fine just shops etc start closing from 23rd September !!! Enjoyed time with my family but think the hotel could offer more . I notice the hotel do not respond to feedback !! English guests friendly majority of the Eastern Europeans rude !!! The rush at meal times was if it was their last meal ever !!! Paint the inside bright have entertainment !!! And ban some of the make eastern way rope and who thought it was fun to vomit each night in the family seating area … some rude Germans !!! I would suggest doing your own research and maybe stay at another hotel in sunny beach , the staff here are not fussed whether you enjoy your stay or not !!!! We requested sea view room , small with interconnecting room couldn’t sit on the balcony because so close to the other room no privacy

I would say that if you are reasonably easily pleased you’ll enjoy yourself. Is it a 4 star ? Probably not but it’s a good 3.5 Some staff were a bit ‘glum but If I had to put up with the behaviour of some of the guests from many different countries I don’t think I’d be smiling all the time either, I saw one young member of staff being reduced to tears by a women berating the fact that she hadn’t flown all the way to Bulgaria only to go without butter, another lady decided to induce vomiting in the flowerbed at the terrace bar so as usual it’s the guests letting the place down. Rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels for room and beach daily, Sun beds plentiful at both the pools and beach, very comfy, huge pools, mini fridge restocked free of charge including beer and bottled water, snack bar open from 1030 till 6pm It is a bit dated but not shabby or grubby and all the staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful. Would I go again? If the price was right there was nothing that put me off. Yes the food is a bit hit and miss at times (breakfast was always good though) but silly things like no fresh fruit juice ( powdered mixes and only from behind the counter), a toaster that takes 6 months to brown toast causes a huge queue are a little irritating but easily fixed

The hotel & pool/outdoor areas are immaculately clean, you always see the housekeepers and cleaners going round to maintain it which is great. The room we had was also good to be honest , good size , always had fresh towels to use as-well as beach towels at your disposal. I agree with other reviews I’ve read about only getting one tiny thin bar of soap for a whole weeks holiday even for two of us it was a stretch. I do recommend taking your own hairdryer as they’re not that powerful We always managed to get a sun bed every day at anytime with no issue , and the pools were great, lovely and refreshing. The food I enjoyed most nights along with the snack bar, admittedly it does get very repetitive and it’s at best luke warm at the best of times which is abit of a let down but it was still tasty and more than enough choice. I was happy with the soft drinks and coffee not a fan of the cocktails but each to their own , the becks in the paper cups from the pool bar was 70% froth but beer was still cold and refreshing. The staff in the hotel were very miserable , I saw maybe 3 members of staff who actually smiled the rest looked like they hated life, no manners and no communication from majority , they just eye roll and point which let them down given it was our honeymoon and we were always polite and they really didn’t seem interested in assisting or talking to anybody. I’m not sure wether it’s the time of the season but the entertainment was only on for an hour at the longest, so by around 10:30pm you were left with little options , either walk up the ***** , or sit by the bar until your ready to go to your room. Sunny beach itself is lovely and the beach is gorgeous so is the location of the hotel, there is mini golf on site which we didn’t play but it looked good. Alot of shops to look around and bars on the *****. Overall we enjoyed it and had a good time , just customer service needs improving and maybe the food temp need a look over but we did have a good time , with improvements I’d be very happy to go back
