HI Hotels Imperial Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

Overall a nice experience

We came out of season (1st May) so it was nice and quiet so I can't say what the hotel would be like at full capacity. It got busier as the week went on and i can imagine at full capacity it would feel too busy. Over all it was good value for money but if I came again I wouldn't come at the beginning of May as there wasn't much open in town and no excursions etc were running yet. Bad points THE HOTEL IS A TRAGEDY WAITING TO HAPPEN. The doors to the fire exits are all locked. Locked as in you need a key to open them. If there was a fire, people wouldn't be able to get out. The guy on the lobby bar did an excellent job but he ran that bar on his own and he worked 12 hour shifts. Its a busy bar and needs at least 2 people working it. No bath just shower. They didn't replenish the water in the room just coffee. No milk/ coffee whitener in rooms. The hotels use of Single use plastics needs highlighting as all outside drinks are served in single use plastic cups. This is a massive stain on the environment. Not enough coffee machines in the dining room so there were always massive queues. If it rains there isn't much to do. The jacuzzi wasn't hot, same temperature as the pool. Good points The hotel staff were great Room was a good size, we got a sea view room which was well worth spending a little more for. Good shower. Cleaning staff were lovely. The guy on the lobby bar (with a flower tattoo on his hand) is a hero, he did an amazing job. Good choice of food and there was always something I could eat. If in doubt the fresh pizza was great.

Have been twice to the Imperial Hotel. Absolutely brilliant. Most of the staff remember me and make you feel very welcome. Hotel clean, Food - so much to choose from (and I am fussy) but ate plenty. Bar staff are brilliant and work so hard. Definitely going again, my third visit.

Just home from a fantastic stay. At first when we arrived our booking was not found but staff quickly sorted it out without fuss and got us our room. We stayed on the 3rd floor right by the lifts (which was great for grabbing a drink from the lobby bar). The room was very spacious and a lovely balcony the view wasn't great looking over the street and other hotels but no problem we wasn't there for the room views. The bed was 2 singles pushed together but we managed and they where very comfy, only gripe would be the 2 single duvets we kept getting lost and tangled in the night 🍆😉... The ensuite was great, clean and with a lovely shower and a comfy toilet seat 😊. There was plenty of mirrors for us to do our hair at the same time. The aircon worked perfectly even though we didn't really need it all the time due to the cooler evenings of October. The staff where all friendly enough some didn't seem over happy but no probs for us just serve me a drink and I'll move on lol. The outdoor pool is unheated and very very cold. The indoor pool was slightly warmed so we used that one a few times. The food was great with themed nights and a great display outside the dinner hall. Not going to lie not all the food was to our taste but then you can't please all the people all the time can you? There is however plenty of food on all day and loads of choice around the hotel. There wasn't much in the way of entertainment but we knew that would be the case when we booked to stay a week earlier this was for us a last minute why not go somewhere for a week holiday and didn't disappoint. The beach is extremely close and great to visit. Overall would I visit again .. no but the only reason is that we make a point of not going to the same place twice but I would recommend others to go there and experience what we did and make the most of it. Don't read too much into the bad reviews go there with your own expectations and this hotel may exceed them for you. I would like to thank all the staff for their hard work, especially the cleaners who never seemed to stop we didn't see any thing not cleaned immediately they work so hard. Me and my husband had a wonderful time here, Beautiful hotel, rooms very nice and clean, modern! Good food, Doughnuts, ice cream, pancakes, pizza, kebabs, pretty much everything!! Three big pools, spa on site, two children’s pools and a big splash pad, Lots of seating, pool tables, gaming machines, air conditioning, The hotel is big and it’s a little bit like a maze to begin with but it’s all part of it. Would 100% go back.
