Due to COVID-19 you have to order your breakfast the night before and pick it up in the morning. The first day I ordered fresh fruit and got a green banana that would not be edible in the foreseeable future. So the next day I ordered a fruit cup instead and brought the banana back. There was nothing wrong with the banana and I did not want to throw it away, but I was flying out and could not take it with me. The front desk lady said: I can't take it back and then threw it in the trash. On top of that there was no fruit cup in my bag, because they were out and had been out for several days. But nobody had notified the guests by putting up a sign at the front desk or marking it as out on the form. So again I had no fruit to eat. In the bathroom they have the fixed containers for shampoo, soap and body lotion. I have no problem with that if it were not that the body lotion container had soap in it! I let the front desk know the first day I was there and they said they would notify housekeeping, but it has not been corrected... Finally, during my stay a man got stuck in one of the elevators for 10 minutes. There is no phone number posted in the elevator or instructions on what to do when you get stuck. The rooms themselves are very nice and generally clean, except for a stain on one of the pillowcases. So not the best experience

I stayed in this hotel for 15 nights on a business trip to the bay area in California, US. Pros 1. Location! Right on El Camino Real and close to walgreens, right next to Safeway, close to a lot of restaurants. 2. Accessible through city bus, uber or even cal train. I used to drive a car there. 3. Hot water swimming pool. 4. Rooms are spacious. 5. The staff is responsive. 6. The property generally seems safer with people and police almost strolling around near by. Cons 1. Cost for laundry. Most hotels in the bay area have laundry included in the room charges. Also the laundry did not operate on 2 occassions for me due to some repair. 2. Breakfast spread for vegetarians is limited. 3. Rooms are somewhat old fashioned. Sometimes the irking sound of taps, showers when you turn them on shows the age of this property. 4. The staff need to improve on room service. Like I had received 3 packages from Amazon and thet had not even called on room phone nor leave a message. I had to check repeatedly with them. 5. No weighing machine. Usually business hotels have weighing machine for baggage check. It wasn't there here. Overall it was a decent stay. I however have stayed in much better places for the same money.

Checked in about 13.30 the young guy at the front desk said our room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm, we was cool with that. About half an hour later he said our rooms was ready. Got our keys went to the room which was right round the back the room was dark dinghy and smelly. Went bk to the front desk and said we was not happy with our room, we would like to change to a room at the front and not the back he said ok but we would have to wait, we was cool with that. Got our second room which was still dark dinghy and smelly and round the back. Went bk to the front desk I said to I noticed WHITE PEOPLE checking in after us getting rooms at the front. Finally got our 3 room which was not much better the dirt on the coat rack was disgusting the TV remote was full of dirt. Hotel like theses should be closed down. DO NOT STAY HERE

My office is very close by so this is the preferred hotel when we come into the office. I've stayed at AC Brand hotels a few times and like them. This hotel was great. Front desk staff extremely nice and helpful! Great lobby bar with a very talented mixologist, was not expecting that in a hotel bar! Breakfast was included in my rate and was super healthy and very tasty. Choice of a healthy egg entree with a breakfast buffet filled with healthy options including yogurt, fruit, juices and whole grain breads. My room was super spacious with a king size bed and a large banquette type couch. A nice desk area with lots of light. My bathroom was a completely closed space, but a colleague had a completely open bathroom with frosted shower and toilet doors which I thought was strange and probably not the best if traveling with kids or with family. I was on the freeway side of the building and was not bothered by the noise of the road, but another colleague was, so if you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room on the other side of the building. Thanks for a great stay! Will be happy to come back.

This is the best hotel to stay in the whole of South Bay Area including Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto and San Jose. I have been so impressed with the service of all the employees and specifically Madison as she not only helped me at the front desk but I saw that she was prompt to answer my questions and provide appropriate response through the Hilton Honors App too. The Hilton brand experience is also amazing at this place and all the amenities are to the point like Parking, Restaurant, Fitness Centre etc.

This is a hard one to rate. PROS * Attentive hotel staff – The WiFi was poor the first day, but after reporting the issue to the staff it was resolved very quickly. Check-in was simply and the staff was competent and capable * Spacious rooms – each room was probably at least 2.5x the size of your average chain hotel of the same budget and class * Convenient location – right in the heart of Silicon Valley and close to highways * Breakfast – a typical hotel breakfast buffet is *included* in the price * Quiet – chose this hotel to be away from downtown SJC noise, and the hotel delivered * Clean - with caveats (see below) * Budget friendly – you get more than you pay for, compared to a chain CONS * The entire place smells like a hospital ward. The cleaner used smelled unpleasantly of disinfectant. * There was a large stain on the bed sheets. I only noticed this the final night as the stain was under a pillow. While the sheets were obviously cleaned and pressed the presence of a large stain is unacceptable * Ants in the room. This is not unusual for a ground floor room in Silicon Valley, and while there were just a few I also know from experience it can be controlled

GGuest UserThis is a 4.5 star review is for THIS CATEGORY of hotels. This isn't the Ritz or Four Seasons, nor is it a Westin or Hyatt or even a regular Marriott. With that said, I'm comparing this to Fairfield Inn & Suites, TownPlace Suites, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites, LaQuinta Inn & Suites, etc during March 2022 while we are still coming out of a pandemic. Pro: Close to SJC 900+ square feet Laundry on site $1.75/$1.50 (coin operated is cheaper than using the app, front desk has quarters) Breakfast M-F is hot. SS grab n GO (March 2022, this might be pandemic related) Fitness center 24/7 (cardio and free weights) Arranged like townhouses, each building has 4 units, 2 on street level, 2 upper level. Penthouses include upstairs loft bdrm/bath Coffee daily (Starbucks) Filtered water at front desk dispenses cold and hot We were in penthouse suite which is on 2nd floor walk up (3rd floor is the loft bdrm + bath), parking was right next to the unit Parking $12/night Driving distance less than 10min from so many places (Levi stadium, Great America, Top Golf, Mountain View, Santa Clara) and all major freeways Front desk staff is great, addressed me by name each time and friendly & professional Less than 5 minutes from Whole Foods Santa Clara, which is an Amazon delivery hub so you can ship stuff directly there and they'll hold it for about 2 weeks. Con Floors thump if you're on street level If your building is against the highway, you'll hear some highway noise, bring earplugs. Stairs to loft are not regulation size, almost ladder size so can easily slip down if you have socks and misstep (we know from experience) Shower door would not stay closed during shower Fry pans but no spatula The pullout sofa bed was the absolute worst sofa bed, you could feel the coils on your back, we had to buy an air mattress. Despite the cons, we really liked the drive up to your unit setup (vs a hotel), it felt like living in a townhouse, we hardly saw other guests, and the location for us was perfect, this was our home base for 4 nights and I would stay here again.

GGuest UserVery residential feel to this hotel, as it's like an apartment community. Not too far off of the highway, and a little drive to shops and restaurants. Be aware, if you choose an upstairs room, you will need to go up a flight stairs, no elevator. The fitness center is upstairs of the clubhouse, and there are laundry facilities onsite. You can download an app to pay for laundry if you don't have coins. There may be a charge for soap and fabric softener at the front desk. Full-size fridge and oven and the kitchen has dishes and silverware. Bar counter that you can sit at, as well as a small desk area. Bed is comfy with 4 pillows. This is a nice place. An outdoor pool and basketball court.

The staff was not very attentive and they definitely did not pay attention to their computer screens upon check in or check out. I had pre paid my room using credit card points combined with payment. So it was pre paid. I checked my credit card and they had charged me the room fee and parking following my stay. I was only expecting to pay for parking. The company I made the pre paid reservation with is fighting Tetra/Marriott to get my 2nd charge removed. The manager told them I wasn't charged. I sent the reservation company a copy of my posted charge from my credit card statement. This just adds that upon check out, the Marriott app wasn't working, so I told the front desk. I handed them my key cards. Upon check in the parking structure was unsecured, so I thought it was always like that. Upon exiting you needed a key card to leave the front desk had both by key cards. I got out by grabbing a key card out of the return box. The property is clean and very nice. The staff and accounting show incompetence.

Shey and Jesi are 2 staff members l got to know, all, are more than accommodating!! A very enjoyable experience, clean, safe and quiet. I have already booked this hotel for friends that will be coming to visit. The pool and jacuzzi are a great place for some down time! Thanks to all the staff for creating/maintaining this wonderful place!!

The location is good, it takes about 20 minutes to drive to other cities in the Bay Area, which can be said to be in the middle.
I highly recommend staying here for business trips, and it is cost-effective.

GGuest UserThe stay at DAYS INN & SUITS BY WYNDHAM SUNNYVALE was just such a horrible experience. When I arrived at 8:00pm, the lobby was closed and there was no one at the lobby. It had a sign that says ”We will be back in 15 minutes.” It was raining and cold so I called the number on the sign. It went to a voicemail in Spanish. I waited for 20 minutes and the desk clerk JULIO finally showed up. JULIO was very RUDE. No greeting. No apology. I asked him where I could get the free breakfast. He said ”NO BREAKFAST!” I told him that it was on the website. He just said, ”THE WEBSITE IS WRONG!” Well, if it's wrong, FIX IT! I chose this place because it had breakfast! Around 9:00pm, I had a question so I went to the lobby. The door was closed AGAIN with the same ”Be back in 15 minutes” sign. After I waited for another 20 minutes, JULIO showed up and said, ”What?” That's not how you treat customers! When I was checking out, the lobby was closed again with the sign. I've stayed in many places but this was the first time that the desk clerk was ALWAYS gone! I couldn't return the key and there were other customers trying to find the desk clerk too. I just gave the key to the maid nearby. Apparently, I see on the website that there are A LOT of customers having similar horrible experiences. The owner is responding to all reviews but they are NOT changing anything. That really tells us that they DON'T care about customers. Owner, if you are saying that you are disappointed, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I should have read the customer reviews before booking... It was supposed to be a fun trip for me but it just ruined my trip. I completely lost trust with Days Inn & Suites. I will report this to the Days Inn & Suites corporate.

Ddee6234It took about half an hour to check in. And this is not because I was waiting for someone else to check in. The manager is incompetent and extremely rude. My reservation was made by the travel team in my company. They had some disagreement around how to pay for it. I had no knowledge about this interaction. When I asked to check in, the manager told me that there's some issue regarding the payment. I gave him my card and asked him to charge it. I said I'll clear things with my company later. However, he refused to let me check in. He spent the next 15 minutes just ranting about the travel dept folks at my company. I was tired. I let him know that and asked that can we please expedite it, but he just would not shut up about it. I asked him for a ground floor room because of a back issue. I would not be able to take the luggage up the stairs. He said that there's no room available and there's no elevator either. I asked him politely once more to check again, since it's a medical reason. He said that there's no room available at all. Since it was a deal breaker, I said that I'll leave and find a different place. He then said that no, there is a room available and gave me one. The room had dirty sheets and what looked like peach pits on the carpet. Since I was tired and so exhausted dealing with him, I pulled my own sheet, put it on and slept. The next day, I asked him for the key to the locker in the room, he said that some guest might have taken it with him. So, there's no safe place for me to keep valuables like the passport. And even at that time, he looked at me as if that was an unreasonable request. When I came back from work later the second day, the fruit pits were gone, but the sheets were still dirty. There's no way I'm staying at this place again.
