Great Location, next to beach, great views, car park great and able to walk to either broadbeach or cavill ave. Will definitely stay there again.

Over rated and over priced with super poor service. The senior receptionist was passive aggressive and super unfriendly; not hard to tell she hated her job. The room had creaky doors and beds that had been slept in by an elephant; super saggy with scratchy sheets. The carpet was dirty and wrinkly. Both receptionist, when you asked for something simple like a late checkout time, wouldn't call you back. Check out time had to be arranged on the day of check out---who does that!!! Compared to 10 years ago, the management has definitely gone down hill. Rate this place less than one star. Also would not believe the reviews on their website for current management team. Summing up, this place in a nutshell has appalling service. Don't waste your money on this place unless you just come for the pool and spa, but excuse the dirty drain in the middle of the spas.

We have stayed at the Surfers Aquarius many times over the years, but on this occasion were disappointed in the condition of our “superior “ apar**ent. The kitchen was poorly appointed with rusty cutlery, badly damaged frying pans and inadequate glass ware. The carpet in the lounge is frayed. The main bathroom bathtub is peeling and the basin cracked. If this is a superior apar**ent, I hate to think what the standard apar**ents look like

Friends asked me to plan this trip, as I've been to the GC so many times, so especially for the location & view, I booked us here which was my 3rd time. The only real negative was that when I phoned to confirm the booking, they confirmed our 2 apar**ents were on levels 31 & 32. This was great, so we could just use the stairs to visit each others place. But we arrived to 32 & 16. I asked reception the next day & they had no higher up room to change 16 to & said the person on the phone shouldn't have promised 31/32 to me. Apart from that, the apar**ent on 32 was great. Amazing views, keycards always worked, beds comfy etc. They don't loose a mark for the spa pool breaking down one day, as they have two & the broken one was fixed within 24 hours. Location is still perfect, where you simply walk out the beach side of the resort to the new boardwalk & either head south towards Broadbeach, or north towards Cavil Ave. We hardly ever needed transport. I'll happily stay a 4th time :)
