The service in the hotel is very poor. When I asked to add a quilt, the waiter showed me a dirty quilt. When I asked to change it, he threw the quilt on the ground and changed the quilt on the ground. The service attitude was extremely poor and the service operation was extremely irregular.

If we could give this hotel a 6 star, we would. We booked two standard double rooms for two nights on a bed and breakfast basis. We had booked this hotel for a place to stay while visiting an elderly relative in Ashby de La Zouch (which is a lovely town about an half an hour drive from the hotel). What really makes this hotel so special is the out of this world service received from employees, they really couldn't do enough for you. They even made a box up for our long drive home (which was thoroughly enjoyed). All the staff were very friendly and pleasant, but a special shout-out to Emma (who served us in the evening at the lounge) and Hannah (who served us at breakfast both mornings). Everything about this hotel was excellent. The traditional (but charming) rooms were immaculately clean and spacious, and the food was just incredible at both breakfast and at dinner. We could not fault this hotel one bit, and can't wait to come back in June!

Had the pleasure of staying overnight at this wonderful place, with amazing grounds, for a friends 60th birthday treat. From start to finish it was a 5* experience. I cannot fault the accommodation, ambience and the 10/10 polite, friendly and professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Topped off with a wonderful relaxing day using the spa facilities, a heavenly massage, day completed with an afternoon tea, before heading home. Thank you to everyone for an excellent 48hrs…..we will be back 👌

I booked a nights stay for my wifes 40th birthday, the reviews were great and she loves history and old buildings so it sounded perfect. On arrive the building and surrounding grounds were amazing i can only imagine what its like in the summer full bloom. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us and the room was very clean and had everything we needed. We didn't have any treatments in the spa as it was a late booking and there were no spots available, but the pool, sauna and other facilities were great and it wasn't busy which is always a bonus. Breakfast was really nice and i loved how it was in the old part of the building, there was plenty of choice of food and we didn't have to wait for our hot food. Overall it was an amazing experience for both of us and we will definitely be staying there again.

Oh my goodness, wow! Where to start.. the hotel and grounds are stunning, you can walk for miles, a moat, little lakes, beautifully kept gardens are all just so peaceful and breathtaking. The staff at the hotel obviously care, nothing is too much trouble, Olivia on reception was so welcoming, the team in the bar (sorry so bad at names). But they were all amazing and made us feel so welcome. We used the hotel as we’re going to Thomas land and Drayton manor, located a nice easy drive about 20mins. When we came back I decided to book a last minute treatment. The spa are is just in the grounds, the gym looked good, I don’t go to the gym! But we did use the pool and had a treatment with the lovely Kristina. All in all, we cannot wait to return. Thanks you Team New Hall

From the minute we arrived, everything was perfect. The venue is beautiful and so well maintained both inside the building and outside in the stunning grounds. Every meal we ate was beautiful and the service was of the highest standard. Every single member of staff we came into contact with was friendly, helpful and felt proud of the hotel and their role there. (a special shout out to Mike, in the restaurant - he was AMAZING and could teach a lot of venues about customer service). Our only complaint was that we didn't book for long enough and wish we had booked an extra night! We would love to return one day as it really is a special place.

My family and I (11 in total) visited New Hall for the Easter Sunday Egg hunt and afternoon tea. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by all of the staff, the day was carefully planned out with maps for the children and adults, the marquee was kitted out in easter bunting and the tables laid all beautiful. It really was a superb day, a wonderful thing to do on Easter Sunday. The staff who served us were second to none - simply wonderful! Great with the children and everything was catered to suit all needs, nothing was too much trouble, I cannot recommend this event enough. A huge shout out to all of the staff who were so kind and friendly and helpful - thank you for a wonderful day New Hall!!

I visited New Hall Spa 21st March 2024 with my bestie we had a fabulous spa day & afternoon tea the quality was second to none I couldn't fault the day my therapist Steph was extremely attentive & professional she took her time over my massage treatment she definitely got rid of my stress i had a full massage with beautiful smelling oils she made me feel totally relaxed i feel great l will definitely be visiting New Hall again in the future for a day of relaxation & indulgence

This hotel is full of character and history with an amazing restaurant and comfy beds. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the staff who were very friendly along with the excellent food (dinner and breakfast) . The spa facilities were nice and clean if a little small so I imagine it could get busy but we did not feel overcrowded (maybe it helped staying on a Sunday). A very peaceful one night stay and the staff are a real credit to New Hall. Thank you for a relaxing evening at your charming hotel.
