Suzhou Hengli Resort Hotel Reviews

The resort is located in a lovely spot on Lake Tongli and is very cosy and relaxing. It is surrounded by greenery and is ideal for family trips/wellness breaks. The rooms are bright and very well maintained. We were also offered a free upgrade. We checked in late in the evening and the restaurant very kindly served us a light dinner. I don't know if the hotel receives many European guests, they speak little English at the reception.

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff. I was upgraded and had a lovely view of Tongli lake. Breakfast was brought to the room as the restuarants were still closed(covid restrictions). Good location, if you are looking for a quiet getaway. A bit far out from most of the Suzhou attraction, but close to Tongli Ancient Town. Will definitely be a good choice once all amenities are restored.

I enjoyed my stay. Excellent staff and decent breakfast. If they could install small pools outside the rooms that have a garden view then the hotel would be PERFECT for relaxation and getaways. Also, having a small spa that’s offering massages wouldn’t hurt. But overall , EXCELLENT !!!

The hotel is located right by Tongli lake and the service from the staff was fantastic throughout with all workers appearing to be happy. Highlights of our stay, aside from the location by the lake, where otherwise the comfortable and well laid out rooms and wide selection of dishes for breakfast.

This time, a family of 9 brought a small dog with them. Because it is a pet-friendly hotel, the price on May Day is much higher than usual. The ticket to Tongli Ancient Town is 100 yuan during the day, and seniors over 70 are free of charge. However, the ancient town is more charming at night. After 17:30, there is no need to enter. There are many tourists. You can eat and play in the ancient town, and the weather is also good.

The hotel is a health care hotel. There are not many people during the holidays and it is very quiet. The decoration is not luxurious but it is quite comfortable, a bit Zen-style. The service managers are very friendly and polite. They upgraded the room and let us enjoy the lake view. There are health care classes and sutra copying. I experienced it. The health care teacher enthusiastically helped us popularize the knowledge of singing bowl therapy after the class. A very comfortable stay experience. I will invite friends to come again next time if I have the chance.

The hotel is close to Tongli Lake, with ample parking spaces, elegant environment, and close to the scenic spot. Even in the case of a large passenger flow on May Day, we will try our best to meet the needs of the guests. We traveled with the elderly, children and dogs, and everyone had a lot of fun. The restaurant has a baby chair, the staff is very nice, and helped us freeze the complementary food for the young children. Then I saw other tables can eat in the restaurant even if they bring takeout. There are parrots and cats in the hotel, and the lobby and outdoor public areas are large. If I have the opportunity to go to Tongli next time, I will come again and recommend it to my friends.

The hotel rooms are comfortable, the service is very good, especially the breakfast is great! The surrounding scenery is also beautiful, I will come again, and pet-friendly is also a highlight! The set meal is also delicious!

The room is large and has a balcony. I can't look closely, but I can see that many facilities are old and not well maintained, including the shower, which is faded and leaking. Parking is convenient The breakfast is average, which is different from the old five-star hotels. Service 4.5, 0.5 is a deduction for room service. I asked for paper towels twice but didn't get them, so I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. The front desk service is very good, giving people a homely feeling. In general, I won't come again next time.

The environment is great. It faces the resort and the hotel across the lake, is hidden in the green trees, accompanied by birdsong, and feels wonderful on vacation. The room is very large, and there are fruits for free on the night of check-in. Breakfast is served in the lakeside restaurant, with various health porridge, Suzhou noodles, cakes, and various freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices. The only drawback is that the air conditioner is too hot and cannot be adjusted. In the end, it had to be turned off.
