Pan Pacific Suzhou
"Stunning hotel! Got beautiful territory to explore. Very close to the city center (20-30 mins cycling), breakfast is also great"
Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden)
"When I was planning my trip, I saw that this hotel had really high ratings, so I chose it. I didn't expect the room to be surprisingly good! It even had a small walk-in closet which was super convenient for hanging clothes, and there was plenty of space for my friend and I to spread out our luggage on the floor. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰🥰 Plus, the front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful, I loved them! ^o^"
SCHOLARS BOUTIQUE Suzhou Pingjiangfu
"This is my second stay here, and it's excellent as always. Service: They upgraded us to a VIP room, which was twice the size. My cousin checked in before me; his Chinese isn't great, but the hotel patiently explained breakfast details and other important information to him, and proactively arranged the room upgrade. Thumbs up to the hotel! After we checked out, I left a charging cable behind, and they even contacted us to ask if we needed it back. The attention to detail in their service is impressive! Environment: The location is superb, right next to Pingjiang Road, which is fantastic."
Crowne Plaza SUZHOU by IHG
"Beautiful hotel located overlooking the lake. Room size was generous and room was clean. We booked a room meant for triple sharing. After requesting for extra bed for adult, no additional water and toiletries were provided. Also, the shower soap was not replenished and we had to request for it to be topped up. Same with other toiletries like hand soap, shampoo and conditioner which were only filled one eighth of the bottles. It's not what I would have expected from a 5-star hotel."
Garden Hotel SUZHOU
"Yingjie Hotel is newly renovated, and while there's still a slight new-furniture smell, it's very comfortable to stay in. It's incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a great sleep. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is extensive. The garden environment is beautiful, and they offer free garden tours with explanations. We even received a festive gift during the Mid-Autumn Festival! Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth revisiting."
Qiu Inn (Suzhou Pingjiang Road Humble Administrator's Garden)
"This local time hotel is Very nice inside & out . It is so convenient to lion garden and humble garden , close to restaurant and very convenient. Good service ! They are so helpful for luggage. And highly recommended to everyone !"
vchill hotel
"The room was really quiet, and the hot spring bath had a very Zen-like design – the rocks and water were perfectly balanced. It was also very clean, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the details. Service was prompt, and breakfast was nutritious. Overall, it was a great experience, perfect for a relaxing getaway 🌿"
Suzhou Alley Jiangnan·Pingjiang Courtyardestay
"The homestay was very clean, and the host was very helpful. They helped us a lot during our stay. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place.👍"
Atour Hotel Suzhou railway station north square Bole Shi
"Pros: The location is excellent, right by the North Square of Suzhou Station. The room is very spacious, a true 35 square meters, and the king-size room feels like a suite. It even has a washing machine with a dryer, a mini-fridge, and a bathtub. Great value for money. Cons: The facilities are a bit old. The bathroom is small and shows noticeable rust marks, and the walls have signs of aging. There's no air conditioning vent in the bedroom (or at least no air comes out, even though it looks like there is one). While the room temperature stays at 23 degrees Celsius, the lack of air circulation makes it feel a bit stuffy. Being close to the train station, it's a little noisy. There's no master light switch, so turning off all the lights individually is a bit inconvenient. Overall, it's very good value for money and recommended."

The Ritz-Carlton, Suzhou
"My husband and I decided on a spontaneous weekend getaway to Suzhou, eager to indulge in local delicacies, admire the beautiful scenery, and simply relax. Since our main focus was exploring the attractions in Gusu District, we chose the Ritz-Carlton Suzhou, which opened last year. It’s conveniently located near the train station and many popular sights. The Ritz-Carlton Suzhou boasts an excellent location in Gusu District, just outside Changmen Gate, within the Suzhou Hwamall, and next to Suzhou MixC World and H+ Art Museum. It's also adjacent to the Lingering Garden and the Shantang historical and cultural street, truly a perfect blend of history and modernity. From the outside, the hotel entrance looks understated and simple, but once you step inside, the artistic decor at every turn creates an incredibly rich artistic atmosphere. We booked an Executive King Room this time. It featured a super king-size bed in the center, flanked by an elegant and spacious arrangement of a sofa and coffee table. The bathroom was generously sized, with two wash basins – a convenient and thoughtful design – and a separate bathtub and shower area, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. From the large floor-to-ceiling windows, we could admire not only the exquisite architecture of Suzhou gardens but also the vibrant cityscapes. One of the main reasons we booked an executive room was for the executive lounge, which offers five meals a day. From the elegant breakfast in the morning to the light lunch, the delightful afternoon tea (which is perfect for photos!), and the exquisite evening canapés and 'Night of Fine Wines,' everything was fantastic. Ms. Mary from the executive lounge provided exceptional service. As soon as we walked in, she asked, 'Are you sitting at your usual spot?' She was also very diligent in serving food and drinks and clearing empty plates. The executive lounge also incorporates outdoor garden landscapes into its design, highlighting Suzhou's unique character and allowing guests to enjoy delicious food while appreciating the views. The staff at the Ritz-Carlton were incredibly warm and polite. Whenever we encountered them in the corridors, they would greet us warmly and say, 'Welcome back.' After we returned to the hotel from our evening stroll, our turndown service had already been completed, and they had thoughtfully left a handwritten note and welcome fruits, truly making us feel right at home."
Kimpton BAMBOO GROVE SUZHOU by IHG
"Staying in the Cool River View King Room this time was truly an experience of 'a view right outside your window.' The room directly overlooks Suzhou's picturesque ancient moat, with shimmering waters and leisurely painted boats. The white walls and black tiles of the Jiangnan residential buildings on the opposite bank reflect beautifully in the water, each with its own charm from dawn to dusk – it felt like living inside a flowing ink wash painting. The facilities were equally impressive. The room's interior design blended modern simplicity with traditional Suzhou elements. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Smart curtains and ambient lighting could be switched with a single touch, perfectly combining technology with a touch of local culture. Upon arrival, a delightful selection of fresh, seasonal welcome fruits was already in the room. Even more surprisingly, the entire minibar was complimentary, stocked with soft drinks and local specialty snacks – a truly thoughtful gesture. Whatever I needed, a quick WeChat message or phone call would get Vickey, the butler, to respond immediately and resolve it efficiently, always with a warm and friendly attitude, never feeling perfunctory. From the stunning moat views and the constantly available butler service to thoughtful details like the complimentary minibar and welcome fruits, Kimpton Suzhou Bamboo Grove truly demonstrates what it means to feel 'at home' through its excellent service. This will remain my only choice for my next visit to Suzhou. Many thanks to the dedicated butler team, and I look forward to seeing you again!"
Citadines Suzhou Jinji Lake
"The room is spacious. While the facilities aren't brand new, which is expected since it's not a newly opened hotel, the location is incredibly convenient. The Exit of Metro Line 6 is right outside, which is fantastic for tourists. Plus, there's a Hema Fresh supermarket right next to the hotel."
Hovle Mansion Club & Hotel
"The location is good, very close to Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum. The nearby Dumb Shengjian (pan-fried buns) always has a super long queue. The room is small, and there's no desk. The price isn't cheap either. You'd be better off staying near Shantang Street."
THE HUMBLE Suzhou Shantang Street City Gate Hospitality Courtyard Hotel
"Nice hotel with a great location near 石路站。Even though it’s near the shopping street the hotel was very quiet. The window in the room isn’t actually a window to the garden, but a window towards the inner corridor, but mostly it’s fine."
Floral Hotel·Suzhou Front Hall and Backyard Hotel (Pingjiang Road Store)
"I originally booked this place for its location, but I ended up falling in love with the private hot spring courtyard. The hot water was plentiful and incredibly relaxing. The butler service was also very thoughtful; their recommended local eateries were fantastic. To have a private courtyard like this in a bustling area is incredibly good value for money."
Scholars Shushan Hot Springs Resort
"The hotel surroundings are beautiful, with lush greenery all around, and the air is incredibly fresh, which really lifted my spirits. Upon check-in, I received welcome snacks, enjoyed the hot springs, and had a delicious breakfast. I'll definitely be staying here again! 👍"
Suzhou Yinxiang Yisu Inn (Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road)
"This guesthouse is absolutely worth staying at. Everyone's service attitude was excellent, truly feeling like a five-star hotel standard. We went with our child, and they even brought us a case of bottled water, saying we'd need more for making formula – so incredibly thoughtful! We accidentally left some clothes when we checked out, and the owner even mailed them to us for free. They're genuinely wonderful, and the place is exceptionally clean."
Suzhou • Guanqian Street BETTERDREAM • GARDEN • Anji Design Hotel (Chayuan Square Subway Station)
"The room was clean and comfy with full of amenities. There is no elevator but the staff were super helpful to support sending the baggage to room. The only we dislike is toilet as the mirror is clear and we are friend, not couple 😅"
Zhuoyu Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Pingjiang Street)
"Absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the location was superb. Highly recommend!"
W Suzhou
"Staying in the 'Wonderful Lake View' room was the most delightful night of our Suzhou trip! My boyfriend and I were deliberating for a long time before deciding on the W's 'Wonderful Lake View' room, and after staying there, we both agreed it was the perfect choice. Corrine, the front desk lady, was very kind and, noticing we were a couple, proactively arranged a high-floor lake view room for us. The moment we opened the door, we both gasped in awe – it was absolutely stunning! The entire Jinji Lake view was right before our eyes. In the evening, we sat on the sofa by the window, watching the sunset, and at night, with the lights off and only the 'moon lamp' on (the limited-edition green one, haha!), we watched the lights across the lake – so peaceful and romantic💕. The room design was modern but not over-the-top, and the cleanliness was impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dust in any corner. My favorite was the bathtub by the window. Taking a bath at night, with the hotel providing a tub liner, was a real plus for someone with OCD like me. The sparkling lake view was right outside, and the frosted glass ensured privacy, so there was no awkwardness at all. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin; I slept soundly until noon the next day. The housekeeping auntie had an excellent service attitude and was always there when we needed anything. The third floor connects directly to the mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The Suzhou-style pastries for breakfast were delicious. If you want a stunning lake view, prioritize the 'Wonderful Lake View' room; the view is so, so much better than the lower floors. It really elevates the vacation vibe. I've already recommended it to all my friends!!"
Xiangxuehai Hotel (Suzhou panmenjingqu)
"We stay here every year during Qingming. This time, the front desk upgraded us to a higher floor room, which had wooden flooring instead of carpet, making it feel very clean. We could also open the windows for ventilation. One of the memory foam pillows was exceptionally comfortable. The shower had great water pressure, but the showerhead was fixed and couldn't be detached. They provided four bottles of water daily, which was a nice touch. Since breakfast wasn't included, we walked to KFC at RT-Mart for breakfast. There were also authentic local breakfast stalls nearby. The century-old noodle shop across the street was very unique and its food was delicious. The hotel's restaurants were incredibly busy; on the same day, there were four weddings, one 10th birthday party, and one 100-day baby celebration, so all the dining rooms were fully booked. However, the hotel's own restaurant is also excellent, and we always make sure to eat there whenever we visit. The food is delicious and good value for money."
Suzhou Jile Tang Hot Spring Hotel
"There were urine stains on the toilet, and the next morning while I was still sleeping, someone just opened the door and came in. It was a man, which was really speechless 😅 Shouldn't you knock on the door to confirm whether the guest is still there?"
Courtyard by Marriott Suzhou
"Excellent experience! The hotel is right by the subway, which is incredibly convenient. Definitely recommend it. The breakfast spread was also very rich and plentiful."
Su Zhou Bu Fan Hotel(Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road)
"Didn't take photos when I first checked in, so I took these before checking out. This balcony is absolutely breathtaking! The room isn't huge, but having a separate bathtub and toilet is a real luxury. It was perfect for four people. The service was excellent, they answered all our questions. We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is also quite new, and there are plenty of places to explore nearby."
