Pan Pacific Suzhou ★★★★★
"The hotel boasts elegant and pleasant views, designed by a renowned international firm. Opened in 1999 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, it symbolizes Sino-Singaporean friendship and international influence. The main building's stone facade is made of Jinshan stone from Mudu, a quarry that has since ceased operation. The garden landscaping is top-notch, with each of the 'Eight Views of Wu Palace' offering unique charm. A back exit provides direct access to the Panmen Scenic Area, allowing for day and night exploration. The hotel's restaurants are distinctive, with both the Chinese and Western establishments being superb. The Ruimian Noodle House, a Suzhou-style noodle restaurant, is particularly elegant and authentic!"
Suzhou City Holiday Hotel (Shiquan Street Wangshi Garden) ★★★★
"The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes' walk from the subway station and close to the Master of the Nets Garden. It offers good value for money, is clean, and the rooms are quite spacious with complete facilities. The only drawback is the lighting control system, which isn't very user-friendly as you can't control individual light sources. I suggest improving this."
ANDU HOTEL ★★★★
"The hotel upgraded my room, and it was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful, even bringing me their homemade iced drinks, which made me feel truly at home! The hotel is surrounded by two bustling commercial food streets, with authentic Suzhou cuisine just a short walk away, making it super convenient. It's also very close to the Lingering Garden and Humble Administrator's Garden. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit."
SCHOLARS BOUTIQUE Suzhou Pingjiangfu ★★★★★
"The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the environment is beautiful, with a koi pond where you can feed the fish. It's quite close to all the popular attractions, and Pingjiang Road is right outside, which is super convenient. The rooms are all inside the hotel, making it very quiet, so we had a great night's rest 😊"
Vienna International Hotel (Suzhou Railway Station North Square) ★★★★
"Great location! It's just across the road from Suzhou Station, making it super convenient for getting around. The hotel environment is lovely, and the front desk service was very proactive. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm here for a concert."
THE HUMBLE Suzhou Shantang Street City Gate Hospitality Courtyard Hotel ★★★
"This was the best hotel of my entire trip to Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. The room was spacious and smelled lovely, and there was a small balcony outside that was cool, had a sofa, and was very clean with no bugs – you could even sleep out there. **Environment:** There's some road construction nearby, which was a bit of a disturbance. However, it's super convenient, only 1-2 minutes from the subway station. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but I highly recommend Jinji Lake! I almost missed it because I thought it was too far!"
AaronHotel ★★
"The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. The facilities were excellent, and the service was great. The surrounding area was also decent, making it very convenient for getting around. It's located in a bustling market street, and overall, it was a very good experience."
Zhuoyaju Hotel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road Guanqian Street Branch) ★★★
"We booked this hotel because it's within walking distance of major gardens. In the morning, you can visit the Lotus Market, which is only a few hundred meters away. After the market, you can leisurely stroll along Pingjiang Road, connecting the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove Garden, and Suzhou Museum into a single route. In the evening, you can take a walk to Guanqian Street. The courtyard is serene and quiet, with excellent soundproofing, which helped me sleep well. When traveling, convenience is key to getting around and avoiding wasted time, and this hotel saved us a lot of time. The owner also pointed out convenient and nearby locations. It's a truly excellent hotel and highly recommended. I've booked it without hesitation and I'm very satisfied! 👍"
Suzhou Shantang Street Huamao Gusuli Service Apartment ★★★★★
"I chose this hotel again for my business trip, and as a returning guest, I'm always satisfied. The front desk recognized me immediately upon arrival and check-in was super fast. The room was just as neat and cozy as I remembered, with great natural light during the day. It was quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep, and extending my stay in the morning was convenient. The service has been consistently reliable, which is a huge plus for frequent business travelers like me. I'll definitely keep coming back! 🌟"

Kimpton BAMBOO GROVE SUZHOU by IHG
"The service was excellent, room facilities complete, the view was nice, and the food was abundant. Overall, the hotel lobby could be a bit noisy due to many tourists, but the room itself was very quiet. On the night of check-in, I tried the legendary Black Pearl restaurant; the serving speed was a bit slow, but the service attitude was great. The complimentary travel photoshoot turned out well, and the photographer was patient and professional. What I liked most about this hotel was the exceptional service, especially Cherry, who started coordinating and asking about my needs well in advance, making all the arrangements. During my stay, any requests were quickly responded to, making my trip very smooth and enjoyable."
voco Suzhou Guanqian Street
"The hotel is new and the service is great! It's right next to Guanqian Street, so it's perfect for a stroll, and the subway access is convenient with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, the hotel has only been open for about half a year, and there's still a strong renovation smell in the hallways and rooms. We had to ask for an air purifier, which helped a bit. Also, there's power, but no bidet installed."
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
"I chose this hotel because it had almost zero negative reviews, but my experience after checking in wasn't as great as I hoped. Here are the two main reasons: 1. I checked out around noon the next day, and the deposit took a long time to be refunded. Also, when checking out, I wasn't informed about when I could expect the deposit to be returned. 2. On the day I checked in, I was a bit overwhelmed by the overly enthusiastic service. Every time I left my room and came back, there were signs of cleaning. Frequent cleaning itself isn't a problem, but it would have been better if they had informed me beforehand. Honestly, such frequent cleaning wasn't even necessary that day."
Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Suzhou
"There are many hotels near Jinji Lake, and after much deliberation, I chose the Lamborghini. Overall, my review is average; it's the kind of place I wouldn't return to. Facilities: Most of the hotel facilities are quite old. The light switches weren't very responsive. The layout of the rooms in the hotel is quite confusing, with no clear signage. The breakfast restaurant was hard to find; I even had to direct two other guests who were lost. The hotel's own pool is quite mediocre, more of a 'better than nothing' situation, so I ended up going to the Crowne Plaza next door to swim. Hygiene: There were black marks on the pillow that hadn't been cleaned. Environment: The overall garden architectural style is quite unique compared to other hotels. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; I got covered in bites just taking a few photos. Also, the hotel lobby design feels a bit cramped and doesn't exude a five-star standard. Service: Most of the staff were pleasant, but a few front desk personnel gave perfunctory responses. The path to the Crowne Plaza is a bit circuitous, and while the hotel offers a free shuttle bus, they didn't proactively mention it. I only found out about the shuttle after asking. I requested a room upgrade two days in advance, even though there were vacancies, but it wasn't granted. Overall, it's not really worth it, and I won't be coming back."
Suzhou Shantangstreet Jiangnan Palace
"Staying at Jiangnan Weaving Mansion Hotel for our family trip, we were impressed by the well‑maintained and fully‑equipped guest rooms. Special thanks go to front‑desk staff Xin, Summer and Xiao Ma for their thoughtful and polite service. They handled check‑in and check‑in procedures efficiently and patiently offered tips for local sightseeing. The hotel is centrally located in Shantang Street, offering great convenience for trips and sightseeing. Especially the traditional architectural style and textile culture of SuZhou, pretty impressed. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Highly recommended for family travellers visiting Suzhou."
Floral Hotel·Suzhou Front Hall and Backyard Hotel (Pingjiang Road Store)
"This guesthouse is right in Pingjiang Road. Overall, it's clean and the balcony is incredibly comfortable, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning – truly fantastic. However, the room is quite small with no separate desk; it's basically just the bed and the bathroom. It's probably best suited for young couples."
Garden Hotel SUZHOU
"This hotel, themed as a 'livable Suzhou garden,' perfectly blends historical charm with modern amenities. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive. The service is excellent, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich. It's the best choice for a relaxing getaway in Suzhou!"
Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou
"Strolling through Suzhou in the summer, I arrived at the Shangri-La on Tayuan Road, a bit tired from the journey. As I walked through the doors, the soft lighting in the lobby immediately created a warm and reassuring atmosphere in the grand and stately space. The summer heat and noise from outside instantly faded away, and I felt completely relaxed. The check-in process was exceptionally smooth, thanks to Lisa, who was enthusiastic and efficient. Her warm smile and patient, detailed assistance throughout the entire process, including arranging seasonal fruits, made it truly pleasant. The turndown service was also a lovely touch. The room itself was spacious and airy, offering a very comfortable stay. All the necessary toiletries were provided. Although the hotel is located on the bustling Tayuan Road, the soundproofing was surprisingly good; once the door was closed, it became a quiet, private space. I slept incredibly well all night. My summer trip to Suzhou was made even more enjoyable by staying at such a warm and comforting hotel. I am extremely satisfied!"
Yuanzi Hostel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road)
"I love this bnb so much. Super clean room and nice beddings. How I wish I can spend few more nights there. The staff are all very friendly. The complementary hi-tea was indeed wonderful. Having great days in Suzhou with Yuanzi, including Yuan Bao & Fa Chai."
Crowne Plaza SUZHOU by IHG
"My stay at the Crowne Plaza Suzhou was very satisfying overall. The hotel's location is super convenient for transportation, making commuting for business a breeze. It's nestled in a quiet spot despite being in a busy area, providing a peaceful environment for rest. The room was clean and fresh, with no unpleasant odors, indicating high hygiene standards. The facilities were well-equipped, including a desk, high-speed internet, and full bathroom amenities. Everything was in good working order with no signs of age or malfunction, perfectly meeting both work and relaxation needs. The hotel staff provided professional and appropriate service; they were well-trained, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and efficient. All my requests were handled properly. My entire stay was hassle-free and effortless. I'll definitely rebook here for future business trips. Dolphin Crab~"
Zhuoyu Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Pingjiang Street)
"Zhuoyu Hotel is conveniently located on Guanqian Street, offering a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The sleeping environment is top-notch, completely free from street noise, and transportation is very accessible. The owner is enthusiastic, the front desk staff are attentive, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel's decor is elegant. Although the layout is compact, it's fully functional. The owner highly recommended the 'Tongdexing Fengzhen Big Pork Noodle,' which was incredibly delicious. The front desk team provided us with all sorts of convenient services. For anyone planning a trip, I highly recommend Zhuoyu Hotel!"
Suzhou • Guanqian Street BETTERDREAM • GARDEN • Anji Design Hotel (Chayuan Square Subway Station)
"I forgot to take pictures, but what you see is what you get – it's exactly like the photos. The room isn't big, but it's perfectly fine for one person. The environment, facilities, and cleanliness are all good. The only minor issues were that the shower water temperature could be a bit unstable, sometimes getting really hot suddenly. Also, the night light was extremely sensitive; it would turn on with the slightest movement, and since I'm a light sleeper, that was a bit bothersome. The toiletries were excellent though. Overall, I still highly recommend it! 😊"
Suhe Luxury Hotel (Suzhou Pingjiang Road Guanchai Street Store)
"The hotel front desk staff were very friendly, the location was great, and the room was also very clean."
MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Chayuanchang Subway Station)
"Facilities: Pretty good Cleanliness: Very good Ambiance: Quite satisfied Service: Very good"
Mercure Suzhou City Center
"The room was spotless and spacious, right across from the Old Town, which was incredibly convenient."
Hampton by Hilton Suzhou Guanqian Street
"The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. There are many food options right outside the side entrance. Their breakfast was also exceptionally good, and the front desk staff provided great service. It's definitely highly recommended! I'll stay here again next time I visit Suzhou..."
