AAnonymous UserMy family and I totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and amenities are really good. The service staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is actually very good for tourist because it is very convenient to assess a lot of food and photo taking sceneries. The thing is, it is not exactly easy to find the taxi will only send you to a place nearby and then you would have to figure out how to go to the hotel. There are some rooms on the second level so it might be a bit tiring to climb up the stairs but we were fortunate to get rooms on the ground floor with a courtyard view. Do look out for mosquitoes but there are mosquito repellent provided. Breakfast is also provided, we had noodles and some condiments. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.

LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

MM305887****This was a very comfortable stay. First, the room was spacious enough, and the facilities were clean and complete. The mattress and pillows were soft yet supportive, so I didn't feel any discomfort or back pain. Second, the delivery service was super fast; the robot brought items to my door within minutes, which was very convenient. Lastly, the service was excellent; I always received a greeting whenever I left or returned. This was definitely the best Home Inn experience I've had.

The location is excellent, very close to all the attractions, making it super convenient to get around – everything is within a 200-meter walk. The room was also very clean. I stay here often and will definitely be back!

BBessieThe hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. Museums and Guanqian Street are within easy walking distance, and the subway station isn't far either. The room was clean and tidy, and it even had a smart speaker (Xiao Du) that allowed me to control the lights, curtains, and TV with my voice. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient during check-in, proactively offered travel tips, and were happy to answer any questions. Overall, I had a great stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Suzhou!

We enjoyed our stay as the staff was hospitable in checking with us amenities that need to be replenished. However, for the room type that we have chosen (with loft), it is not suitable for people who are above 1.7m height as we knocked on our head every day due to the ceiling structure. It would also be good that if the homestay's shower head water flow could be stronger.

CCyfer3185Stayed at this homestay for 3 nights in July which is peak season for summer domestic travel in China. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect of a 4 star hotel - comfortable beds, lounging area, balcony, TV, good toiletries, hair dryer. Other positives were very friendly service staff, hearty breakfast from the cafe with is on the same premise. There’s also local restaurants nearby to dine at which are not bad, just 5-10 mins walk down the road. I also enjoyed waking up to run across the bridge which has a great sunrise view. A lot of tourists visit the cafe for the sunset views. The hotel staff can do room service and bring food ordered from the cafe to your room if requested.
Note though that location wise it is not as close to other cafes and stuff. You’ll need to travel a fair bit if you want to venture and do other things. I wanted a peaceful retreat with a good view but nearer to mainland (compared to the main 西山岛） so this worked for me.
I stayed in 3 different rooms (Rm 1,4,5) for my 3 nights as I had asked for a room with a view but was initially assigned one that was completely blocked by trees. In trying to accommodate my request I ended up having different rooms (to no fault of the staff and property) each night. There are 8 ‘normal rooms’ and one suite room that is round and more suited for honeymoon/romantic occasions. Rooms 3,4,5,6 are the ones with the better view. Room 1 (my first room) has a completely blocked view which is a waste staying by the lake. Rooms 4 and 5 have the best view. Note also that rm 1 and 4 have a skylight that cannot be blocked so by 5 am your room is gonna be bright although they do give you eye shades to help.
There is also no laundry facilities on site.
Only additional feedback to the property would be that they could consider a discount for guests to dine at the cafe, that could encourage guests to have more meals there.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this for anyone looking for an escape for the buzz and want a tranquil place to rest!

PPaul from EnglandIIt was strange because when I first came to the hotel I was a bit concerned as no one showed me to my room or explain to me I would need a key card to operate the lift.
However I think that could be because the girls were shy at speaking English, as when I was encouraged to add the hotels WeChat, they have provided incredible assistance, in giving advice on how to get to tourist attractions. Ms. Zhang at the front desk was especially amazing, helping me get a power bank which was delivered within 30 minutes after I requested it at 10 pm on a Sunday which was amazing.
She also helped me resolve a mosquito problem, and nothing was too much trouble for her.
She is a big reason my stay was so enjoyable.
The location of the hotel is perfect very close to Sujin metro line which covers line 4 and 6, turning on to the main road there is a lovely place to eat when you turn to the right and there's also a lovely supermarket on the left/opposite (oth owners I made friends with, and talk to every time I passed).
In the end I didn't want to leave Suzhou or this hotel.
The only downsides were the I was above quite a busy road, and people with motorbikes seem to like to use the pavement which made it a life or death experience at times, but I love the city, and this is an ideal location to explore the area.
Because I got rewards on trip.com the price per night was incredibly cheap, which equated to around 15 pounds a night, which was incredible considering the location.
This is the best overall experience I have ever had of staying in any hotel, even if the mosquitoes did initially find me delicious.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bedding is wonderfully soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even proactively upgrading our room. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!
