If you prefer quiet, I highly recommend requesting a quieter room when booking or checking in. 2. **Disappointing Breakfast**: The breakfast is a major drawback. It's served at a KFC a couple of doors down. You can choose between a Chinese or Western set, but each option only offers three items, all of which were greasy and quite unappetizing. When I asked the front desk about this, they explained it's because the hotel is new and doesn't have its own kitchen. However, this wasn't mentioned when booking; it was simply stated as a 'fixed breakfast.' I ended up negotiating to cancel the breakfast. The hotel said the KFC breakfast costs 15 yuan to the public, but they would only refund 10 yuan per person. Fortunately, being in the old town, good food is never far. Not far from KFC, there's a noodle shop that was packed with people, offering delicious small wontons and various Suzhou-style noodles. 3. **Thoughtful Departure Gift**: Upon checking out, the hotel gave us a hand cream as a small souvenir. Based on my stay, I'd suggest they focus on improving the overall guest experience, optimizing room rates for better value for money, and enhancing their service.
