We arrived at the hotel yesterday at noon, and it was still drizzling due to the white dolphin's influence. The outdoor pool wasn't crowded, and the kids absolutely loved the slide, going up and down tirelessly. From check-in to the staff we met by the pool, everyone was very responsible, patient, and incredibly polite, which made us feel great 👍. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and my child slept soundly. The carpet in the hallway was thick, so we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway in our room – the environment was truly excellent. This morning's breakfast truly impressed my dad and me. Not only was there a wide selection, but it was also delicious. I rarely overeat at a hotel breakfast 😅. The staff were very attentive, constantly clearing dirty plates, and even proactively bringing freshly baked xiao long bao and matcha cream puffs to our table. When ordering noodles, the auntie was especially gentle and accommodating. The young man making the eggs Benedict was amazing – so delicious 😋. After breakfast, we headed straight to the infinity pool and the kids' splash pool. We were lucky today, as the big sun made playing in the water so comfortable!! The pool is beautiful, and the garden environment here is truly lovely, making walks very pleasant. The changing rooms at the indoor pool were clean and fresh, with no unpleasant odors 👍. Alternating between the pool and the spa was also very relaxing 😌. The indoor playground was also good, with a climbing wall that even our older child enjoyed. All in all, everything was just perfect. We hope they maintain the quality of the facilities and the service awareness. The children loved it, and we'll definitely be back often to play in the water!!

Park Hyatt Suzhou

Park Hyatt Suzhou - Excellent for Business, Lacking for Leisure. Hidden in the bustling Industrial Park, the Park Hyatt Suzhou appears small and unassuming from the outside, like a demure Jiangnan maiden, discreetly showcasing the charm of Suzhou by Jinji Lake. 1. Public Areas: 90 points. The public areas (P3-P11) are compact, yet the hotel is designed in the traditional 'three-courtyard' style of a Suzhou mansion. The lobby atrium, koi pond with its shimmering fish, and a hundred-year-old black pine tree create a harmonious scene. Many of the koi are half a meter long or more, their golden scales exuding prosperity. Furthermore, the floral arrangements are truly exceptional. 2. Rooms: 90 points. The front desk upgraded my room to a lake view, offering a direct sight of the Ferris wheel (P1) from the window. Starting at 50 square meters, the rooms cleverly divide living and sleeping areas. Details like the begonia flower doorknobs, Bvlgari blue bathroom countertops, and Le Labo sandalwood amenities all contribute to an air of sophistication. 3. Dining: 95 points. The dining options (P12-P14) are equally impressive. The breakfast is rich and features distinct local Suzhou specialties; both the wontons and mixed noodles were excellent. The Black Pearl One Diamond restaurant, 'Xizhou Xuan,' specializes in authentic Su Bang and Huaiyang cuisines. The Wuliangye roasted duck is a signature dish, and the salt and pepper duck bones are incredibly flavorful. 4. Service: 85 points. The hotel's butler service is meticulous. When I needed a firmer mattress due to back discomfort, they responded very quickly. However, the hotel offers fewer activities, and the relatively small swimming pool (P17) is a drawback. Overall, the Park Hyatt Suzhou is a good business hotel, though it lacks a bit in terms of a resort feel. It follows a 'small but beautiful' concept, and I would give it an overall score of 90 points.

Suzhou Manshe · MAN SHE HOTEL (Guanqian Street Pingjiang Road)

This hotel is located at the entrance of Fenghuang Street, a convenient 10-minute walk from the Master of the Nets Garden and Dinghui Temple, and close to Shiquan Street. It's in the old town, but without the hustle and bustle of Pingjiang Road. My room was on the fifth floor, and despite being street-facing, it was surprisingly quiet. The room size matched the description perfectly – quite spacious. It featured smart controls via 'Xiaodu,' and both the mattress and bedding were excellent, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. There's a KFC downstairs, and just a short walk away, you'll find A'cheng Restaurant, known for its delicious and affordable food. The laundry room is on the sixth floor, equipped with two washers and two dryers, right next to a picturesque rooftop garden that's great for photos. My main complaint is that the hotel primarily offers king-size beds, with very few twin rooms available. What was also strange was that after customer service proactively called me the day before check-in to confirm my arrival, someone else called me on the same day asking if I was still checking in. This happened during the off-season on a weekday, which felt a bit odd.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise and offered excellent value for money! 👍 With the Suzhou culture and tourism subsidy, we paid less than 500 RMB for a family room. 📍 **Location** * Just 3 km from Kunshan Urban Forest Park – perfect for camping, cycling, animal encounters, and kids' activities (both powered and unpowered). * A 7-8 minute walk to Mixc One for all your dining and shopping needs. * Also quite close to Metro Line 11 station. 🏨 **Hotel Facilities** * The front desk thoughtfully provides self-service items like earplugs, band-aids, and disinfectant wipes. * The family room is incredibly detailed, offering a children's toilet seat, bath bags, kids' books, and building blocks. * The room is spacious, the air conditioning is good, and the TV allows screen casting, making it very comfortable overall. * There's a splash pool on the 12th floor, open annually from June 15th to September 15th. We didn't get to experience it this time. 🍜 **Breakfast was a pleasant surprise** * The restaurant isn't huge but never had a queue, and the dining environment was comfortable. * While not a massive selection, there was enough variety for a satisfying meal, especially friendly for those with Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai palates. * Highly recommend the mixed noodles, egg rolls, and beef brisket. * They also had herbal jelly and snacks for the kids. 📝 They even provided welcome snacks + drinks, and gave the kids toys upon check-out. The emotional value was definitely delivered! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kunshan, especially for family trips!

Facilities: I came here specifically for the boat access and private hot springs. The room with the boat dock faces east, which was perfect for soaking in the hot springs while watching the sunrise! The room was incredibly cozy, the bedding was extremely comfortable, and the mini-bar had a wide variety of items. Since it was my birthday, I was upgraded to a suite, and the Japanese-style tatami tea room was very interesting! Activities: The entire hotel was filled with a pleasant fragrance. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to enjoy, like lighting incense, making tea, and reading – perfect for a relaxing getaway. I'd heard great things about the spa, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Next to the spa, there's a collaborating gallery featuring two intriguing exhibitions, and the souvenirs were also quite unique. Plus, the weather was beautiful during my stay, and I really enjoyed borrowing bikes from Yueliu to cycle around! Service: Absolutely exceeded expectations! The front desk butler was very responsive. As it was my birthday, they not only set up a lovely decoration and provided a delicious cake, but several staff members wished me a happy birthday when I encountered them, which was a wonderful surprise! Tina from the spa area was very warm and straightforward, giving me lots of great recommendations, and we had a fantastic chat. Dining: Dining is probably this hotel's weak point. Breakfast was mediocre. The Baiyun restaurant wasn't open, so I went to Yueliu, and while the food tasted pretty good, it was low value for money – definitely high-end 'agritourism' style. However, the ambiance of both restaurants was superb, and on a sunny day, eating breakfast outdoors while petting cats was incredibly pleasant!

A rather pleasant trip, possibly due to off-peak travel, the hotel wasn't crowded, which made for a great experience. I'd definitely come again if I have the chance. Facilities: Overall good, up to five-star standards, including a kids' club and swimming pool. However, the faucet in the room's sink was a bit leaky. Hygiene: Excellent. Housekeeping was prompt, the bathroom was spacious, and the room was bright and clean. Environment: Located next to Taihu Lake, waking up to a lush green view was incredibly refreshing. Service: The front desk staff and other employees were all very enthusiastic and provided thoughtful service. Our butler, Tommy, was very responsive, thumbs up! 👍

Willows are green and reflect the blue waves. Soft silk dances in the spring. The most affectionate place is Yuejuli, which holds many dreams of tourists. The town after the rain is like a dream and a painting. The stone road under your feet is a thousand years old at a glance... Yueju Inn is where the dream begins. The wooden door opens lightly, and you get a quiet world. The smile is warm like the spring breeze. A cup of tea, a lamp, and a warm time. If you go to Suzhou, you must come to Tongli. If you go to Tongli, you must be in Yueju

Banyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable! The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful. The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs! Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money! **Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious! **Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year! Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!
