If you're looking for a place in Suzhou that offers both historical charm and comfortable accommodation, An Yi Hotel is an absolute must-stay. Located downstairs from Guanqian Street and right next to Pingjiang Road, it's a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city. This courtyard in the heart of the lively area feels especially precious. The environment is serene and elegant; taking a stroll in the courtyard at night, listening to the distant Pingtang (storytelling and ballad singing) performances, is incredibly atmospheric.
Room amenities are meticulously chosen. The bedding uses high-thread-count cotton, soft to the touch, and the duvet is warm yet lightweight. The smart room control system is highly responsive, allowing you to adjust everything without lifting a finger. The bathroom has excellent water pressure, hot water comes quickly, and the toiletries have a lovely scent. The cleanliness is reassuring, visibly spotless. The front desk service is very professional; check-in was efficient, and they proactively asked if I needed assistance. Upon departure, they even presented a small souvenir with local Suzhou characteristics. This feeling of being welcomed home is truly wonderful.

GGuest UserThe room is very clean, not crowded, with a collection of patterns and style. The windows are large and the view is good. There is a children's playground on the first floor of Building 2, which the children like. The breakfast is rich. Bird watching and scenic spot tickets are given, which is very cost-effective. Bird watching is worth going. The scenic spot rocking boat is worth a ride, 30 yuan/person. There are few people on the rainy Dragon Boat Festival, which is not bad.
The hotel staff is enthusiastic. 🅿️ The parking lot is large and there is no parking fee. I will choose to stay in Manxinfu next time. Thank you for the careful and meticulous service of the hotel staff this time.

Wwl****The location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!

GGuest UserMy trip to Suzhou was fantastic, and this hotel was a delightful surprise! I honestly expected something pretty standard for a little over 300 RMB during the busy May Day holiday, but the service felt five-star in every aspect. They offer free Qipao experiences daily, and I loved wearing one to take photos at nearby attractions – it really set the mood. The room was spotlessly clean, and the front desk lady was incredibly warm, attentive, and had such a pleasant voice. She even treated us to complimentary breakfast for two. Speaking of breakfast, it was excellent and we were very impressed. The hotel's location is truly prime, right on Guanqian Street, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the sights. In the evenings, it was lovely to stroll along Guanqian Street and shop for local specialties. Oh, and the famous Manhao Pavilion baozi (steamed buns) in Suzhou are right next door, literally a two-minute walk! We loved them so much that we bought 32 baozi from Manhao Pavilion at the end of our trip and brought them back on the high-speed train. All in all, my Suzhou trip was perfect!

The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious with a big shower. Staff are all friendly and helpful and, for the price, this is a good option for people visiting the city.

FFairy DeeThe hotel is lovely. Especially the service from the staff. Most of them speak English and are always willing to help. If anything goes wrong they make sure to correct it and leave you satisfied. Rooms are quiet and spacious. The breakfast is good , has bit of variety of western and Chinese food. The highlight for me was the food truck by the patio. It sells affordable and delicious hotdogs and very yummy ice-cream. there is a small water show in the evening as well . It’s also near a mall so many food options. A little far from the subway or train station but I’ll still give it a 10/10!

KKok Hong GanI had a wonderful stay at this homestay at 平江路. The location is very strategic, with easy access to many attractions, shops, and food spots, making it very convenient to explore the area.
The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the whole stay smooth and enjoyable.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. I accidentally left my phone in a taxi, and the host went above and beyond to help me. They quickly coordinated with the driver and handled everything until my phone was safely returned.
I really appreciate the extra effort and care, it made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful host!

Then, they even upgraded my room on the spot. When I left, they gave me some snacks, drinks, and tissues. Their service was very thoughtful!

Our stay here exceeded expectations in every way. The hotel itself is very elegant, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The courtyard area is absolutely wonderful — very clean, relaxing, with a beautiful pond full of colorful fish that creates a special atmosphere both during the day and evening.
The rooms are spacious, fresh, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything feels carefully maintained and much more premium than the price we paid. Honestly, we felt we received far more value than expected.
What made this experience truly exceptional was the employee Charles. He was incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely caring during our whole stay. He always helped us with recommendations about the best places to visit, restaurant guidance, arranging taxis, taking care of our luggage, and even helped create a wonderful fish-feeding experience for us. Small details like this made our trip feel special and memorable.
You can clearly feel real hospitality here, not just hotel service.
We stayed as a couple and would happily return again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Suzhou who wants an authentic, elegant, and relaxing experience.
