It's located in the prime Jinji Lake CBD, a truly expensive area, yet it's built entirely to resort standards, with low-rise buildings and abundant greenery everywhere you look. I don't think there's another hotel in the entire country that meets this standard right now. The hotel's decor and design are grand yet understated, a blend of Eastern and Western aesthetics, with every corner being photo-worthy. From the front of the main building, you can see the Gate of the Orient to the left and the Cultural Center to the right, capturing the most beautiful skyline on both sides of Jinji Lake. Even the standard rooms are a spacious 55 square meters, and the bedding and toiletries are incredibly comfortable to the touch. Both the breakfast restaurant and the Chinese restaurant use high-quality ingredients and serve exquisite, delicious food. In addition to a standard gym, spa, and two swimming pools (the outdoor one offers a fantastic view directly facing the Gate of the Orient), the hotel also provides travel photography services, bicycle rentals, and a children's activity center with classes. A family could easily spend 24 hours here and not get bored. In summary, while the Four Seasons Suzhou is 100% more expensive than thousand-yuan luxury hotels or popular B&Bs, the overall experience is definitely more than 200% better, making it truly good value for money (they occasionally have special packages). If your budget allows, I genuinely recommend staying here for a night."

The fly in the ointment is that breakfast is slightly ordinary compared to the regular five-star, the category and choice are more general, and the simple meal style of the homestay. If we go on May 1st, the outdoor infinity pool is not open yet. In summer, the infinity pool connects to the view of Taihu Lake, which will definitely look very good. Parent-child facilities are relatively simple, there is a jumping bed, children dig stones, play in the bathtub in the room. The whole is very suitable for Taihu Lake holiday, lake view, room type, service and travel photography are all extra points, it is worth staying."

We were warm and toasty, and it wasn't cold at all walking back from the outdoor pools. The breakfast was abundant with plenty of choices. However, a few complaints: The family room was advertised to have a sofa bed, but it was very small, only suitable for a child. Once unfolded, half was a hardboard and half a soft cushion, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The shampoo and body wash provided for showering at the hot springs were quite low-quality, and there was no conditioner. Also, the changing room air conditioning was insufficient, so it was quite cold while changing clothes."

Breakfast starts at 8 o'clock, the dishes are very rich, and considering that there are many guests on the holiday, the dishes can be supplemented in time. The sky is not good this holiday, it drizzles, and you can't play outdoors all the time. I want to treat it for a few days next time. PS. There are many farmhouses near the resort, and the price is fair"
