Hygienic: The room is very clean, the bathroom has no smell, hot water is sufficient, and several rooms will not affect the bath at the same time.
Service: The service is very good, the group will be pulled in advance, and all kinds of needs will be responded quickly.
Hardware: It can be seen that the boss is still very careful in the operation, all kinds of decoration designs have been spent on.
This trip brought children, dining chair toys, staying in tatami room type is also very suitable, not afraid of children falling out of bed.

AAnonymous UserThis guesthouse, SICILY, is nestled right by Taihu Lake, offering breathtaking views of the vast, misty waters and scenic mountains right from our window. It truly delivers on the dream of ”facing Taihu Lake, with spring blossoms blooming.” Our room had an exceptional view; whether watching the morning sun paint the lake crimson or enjoying the afterglow of a sunset, the beauty was so captivating it made us forget time.
The room design is a sleek, modern, Instagram-worthy style, complete with smart home features that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly practical. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the toiletries were of excellent quality, showing the owner's thoughtful attention to detail everywhere. The butler service was exceptionally attentive, handling everything meticulously from pre-arrival directions to every little detail during our stay.
This wasn't just accommodation; it was a beautiful memory. I highly recommend SICILY to anyone seeking quality and stunning scenery. I believe it will be the highlight of your Xishan trip.

GGuest UserMy husband and I were met with the warmest of welcomes here! The hosts and staff were all really friendly and willing to even prepare some dinner for us after we arrived late in the evening. The gardens are beautiful and well-tended and lovely to just walk around in or sit and enjoy. We had a queen bed room Mountain View - which was quite spacious, smelled fresh and was exceptionally clean, with sufficient amenities even a balcony and mini-sauna. Breakfast was local-style and very filling. This location is great for a remote getaway experience, for some peace and quiet and if you want to explore nature. The only thing to note is that the surrounding village is rather small so there aren’t many other food options/ stores etc, so best to come prepared. All in all, we had a wonderful time and are hoping to return in the spring!

XXingershangxue yeweikezhiWe chose an Executive Floor 180-degree lake view twin room. The view from the room was excellent 👍 and the facilities were fine too. The only downside was that the toilet wasn't smart; everything else performed as expected. Personally, I don't think the dining was as bad as some online reviews suggested. I'm not sure why so many people complain about the breakfast; while the items are pretty standard, there's a good variety and the taste is decent. I particularly liked the fresh meat shumai and pan-fried dumplings. Also, aren't all hotel Executive Lounge happy hours like this now, more like a small canteen? The afternoon tea was a self-serve buffet and quite good; the three dessert options were all tasty, and there was fruit too, though the fries among the snacks were indeed a bit disappointing. Another drawback is that there are weddings on the lawn every weekend, with setup and sound system testing starting as early as 9 AM, which can be disruptive if you want to sleep in. Otherwise, I found the service in all aspects to be excellent – warm, thoughtful, and meticulous.

1110235****The housekeeper, Aunt Huang, was warm and hospitable. After dinner, she would brew tea and serve fruit to the guests, and chat with them in the lobby downstairs. Her homemade red soup noodles were delicious, and they went very well with the six-compartment breakfast set. The bed in the room was just the right firmness, and the bedding was high quality and comfortable. The guesthouse's decor was simple yet stylish, and it looked especially beautiful at night under the lighting. The Japanese-style courtyard was elegant, with an outdoor hot spring pool and a tea room.

GGuest UserI went to Xishan with friends to relax over the weekend and happened to come across this place. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and quiet environment. You can climb to the top of Piaomiao Peak along the way. There are mountains and water, and the three big white geese in the river are very lively. You can also go boating. It's a perfect place to completely forget about life's troubles. It's a perfect weekend getaway. I heard from the locals that you can pick bayberries here in the summer and soak in hot springs in the winter. I plan to come back next time to experience it.

1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail.
2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief.
3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down).
There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident.
Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

GGuest UserTraveling with a baby was a perfect experience! The hotel's garden design is outstanding, and the rooms are spacious and airy, with excellent indoor-outdoor flow, making for a very comfortable stay. The location is superb, directly facing the mountains and offering immediate access to Tianshi Lake. The surrounding area is great for exploring and walking, perfect for families with young children. Both the hotel's amenities and services are top-notch, as expected from the Banyan Tree brand. The service is meticulous and attentive, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. They even gave us a cute little lion toy and a toy car. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, highly recommended for a family vacation.

SSabina SteinmacherThe hotel was located at the lake with an amazing view. The rooms was really nice and super clean and the mattress was really comfortable to sleep very well. The facility of the hotel was nice and very stylish, all in white and modern. The hotel was really lovely. The only thing that is really not good organised, there is no food except breakfast and afternoon tea (in that case fruits). We needed to order from a delivery service (only Chinese food available and it's was not really good). A hotel located at that wonderful place with that high price should have basic foods at the restaurant.
