This hotel offers a peaceful retreat right in the heart of Guanqian Street, nestled within a garden, and surrounded by an abundance of dining options. The owner and front desk staff (both the male and female attendants) are incredibly welcoming and always greet guests warmly. They even proactively helped me with multiple food deliveries and stored my luggage. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, ensuring a very restful stay these past few days. The hotel also features well-designed common areas with washing machines and dryers, which is a huge plus for long-term travelers. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Five stars are good, but I'd give it six! First, let's talk about the location: Suzhou's old town is absolutely packed on weekends, so a good hotel location is crucial for an enjoyable trip. Exit the hotel and turn right, and Pingjiang Road is just 50 meters away. Go another kilometer, and you'll find the Lotus Market at Baitai Park and the Flower and Bird Market on Pishi Street—all showcasing the best of old Suzhou. After parking at the hotel, the best way to explore is to rent an electric scooter. Feel the breeze through your hair under the trees. Within a 5-kilometer radius, you can reach almost 90% of old Suzhou's attractions. It's pure bliss! Room facilities: If there's one minor drawback, it's that the hardware is a bit older. But then again, with such a great location and this level of service, it wouldn't be this price if it hadn't been open for a while. So, in a way, it's just the other side of the coin. Of course, the hotel has made many efforts, such as installing Washlets later on, and the linens are well-maintained. What's particularly amazing are the hotel's teas—they're truly excellent. Breakfast: Absolutely a bonus! You must try the Cifan Tuan (sticky rice rolls), sweet with preserved mustard greens—the texture is simply first-rate. The young man making the rice rolls was also very kind, chatting as if with family. It seems they also have a seasonal dish recommendation among the stir-fries. On the day I visited, it was edamame with water bamboo, which was incredibly tender. Finally, the overall service: The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were excellent. It was hot, and I appreciate their thoughtful service.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room itself was exactly my style – simple, spacious, and with a large floor-to-ceiling window. The service was even better. When I arrived, the elevator was undergoing maintenance, and after a quick call, a hotel staff member promptly came down to help with my luggage and show me the way. The check-in process was very clear and informative. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou.

The room was clean and comfortable, and it even came with its own laundry room and dryer – a big plus! They also gave us a small gift. It's super close to all the attractions; turn left out the door and you're on Guanqian Street, turn right and you're on Pingjiang Road. Humble Administrator's Garden is about a 15-minute walk away. The transportation is incredibly convenient, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth recommending, I'll be back next time!

Stayed at a guesthouse in Suzhou that I absolutely adored! 😸 The common areas have such a great vibe – a fireplace, a record player, every corner is perfect for photos. The little courtyard is full of flowers and plants, and just sitting there basking in the sun is incredibly relaxing. It's just a short walk from the Humble Administrator's Garden and Pingjiang Road, so after exploring the sights, you can come back to a peaceful and quiet environment. The room was spotless, making for a very relaxing stay. It's not one of those generic influencer-type places; it has real character. I'll definitely be back when I visit Suzhou again!

This hotel is great for families or friends traveling together. I was initially hesitant after reading some reviews and almost canceled, but decided to tough it out for one night. It completely exceeded my expectations! Upon arrival, the front desk offered tea and hot towels, and even provided a cover for my ID card. The hallways had thoughtful little amenities. Our room even had a bathtub, which the kids absolutely loved. The cleaning staff kept asking if the children needed water. When we were leaving, the front desk staff thoughtfully opened the door for us. Our taxi hadn't arrived yet, and they insisted we wait inside the hotel instead of outside because it was so hot. The service was incredibly warm and caring. I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in Suzhou, and stay for a few more days!

Service: Excellent! The lady at the front desk was so kind and gentle. She helped us check in, told us all the important details, and personally escorted us to our room. The air conditioning was already on, so walking into a cool room right away was fantastic. Facilities: The room has an automatic toilet, smart home features, a refrigerator, and all the amenities are new and high-quality. The accommodation area, elevators, and even the room doors have facial recognition, which makes it very secure and convenient since you don't need a key card. Environment: Located on Lindun Road, it's a bustling area, making it super easy to order takeout – robots even deliver it right to your door. It's also close to many attractions and the train station.

The location is impeccable, making it very convenient to visit the Lotus Market and Pingjiang Road. The room is spacious, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. The service team is very friendly; the cleaning lady is enthusiastic, and the owner is always responsive to requests. They even prepared drinks and fruits, which added a lot of warmth to our trip. The owner also recommended a friend who did our Hanfu makeup and photography at a very friendly price. We saw many photographers on the street charging per photo, so if you need photos, I highly recommend asking the owner for a recommendation. I hope this helps anyone looking for a place to stay; you should definitely choose this one!

Traveling to Suzhou, I booked this hotel and was pleasantly surprised! My child said the atmosphere was great, and the room was very clean and tidy with a dry and wet separation bathroom. They even provided free bottled water and drinks. We had a very comfortable stay. There are many restaurants nearby, offering plenty of choices for breakfast and dinner, and ordering takeout is also very convenient. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk from Guanqian Street and Shantang Street. They also offer a pick-up service from the station, but we didn't bother the driver and took the subway instead. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Suzhou and will recommend it to my friends and family.

I had originally booked another hotel, but since I arrived early, I decided to stay at this one. It's incredibly convenient with plenty of food options and accommodations nearby, plus it's right by the subway and bus stops. You can even walk to the famous attractions! What really stood out was how enthusiastic and sincere the manager was; they responded quickly and resolved any issues I had. I ended up canceling my original booking and stayed here for my entire trip to Suzhou. I highly recommend booking this place, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Suzhou!

Traveling solo to Suzhou for a short trip, I compared many hotels on Ctrip and finally settled on the Anyi Hotel. Overall, it was excellent value for money. The hotel facilities are quite new, the room layout is practical, and there are plenty of power outlets, making it very convenient to charge phones and power banks. The bathroom had consistent water pressure and hot water came quickly, meeting all daily living needs. The room wasn't large but didn't feel cramped, and there was ample storage space for luggage and personal belongings. The location is a significant plus; the metro and bus stops are not far, making it easy to get to Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, saving a lot on transportation costs. The hotel isn't on a noisy main street, so it's very quiet at night, allowing for a good night's rest. The price is very competitive for the Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road area, with no inflated premium. For travelers who prioritize practicality and value for money, this hotel comes highly recommended; overall, it was a great choice.

The inn's location is fantastic, directly across from the Lion Grove Garden, and very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum, making sightseeing incredibly convenient! I had originally booked the smallest room in the inn. When I arrived, I asked the owner if a free upgrade was possible, as many guests had mentioned being upgraded. Without a second thought, the owner immediately upgraded me to the largest room—the service was truly exceptional! The room decor was beautiful, especially the large bed, which perfectly embodies classical Chinese aesthetics. There was also a tatami tea table and a small arhat bed. The front desk even provides a sewing kit for mending clothes, all of which speaks volumes about the owner's excellent service. I'm definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip to Suzhou.

Of all the hotels and guesthouses I've stayed in, this is truly the one I'd definitely return to on my next trip to Suzhou. The location is absolutely perfect; it's outside the scenic area but still within walking distance, and there are some great breakfast spots along the way. Both the metro and bus stops are within a 5-minute walk, which is incredibly convenient. Our room was nestled between a small river and a path, making it wonderfully tranquil. The room itself was absolutely delightful: it had a projector screen, voice-controlled curtains, instant hot water, and a full set of toiletries. It's as if the owner is constantly worried about not treating guests well enough, going above and beyond to provide thoughtful amenities. In the hallway, there's a microwave, a tea station, and a washing machine. They even have a rack of cheongsams, including several made with stretchy fabric, which was a very thoughtful touch. The most commendable aspect, however, were the three young front desk managers. Though young, they were incredibly warm, helpful, and polite in their interactions. A seemingly delicate young lady effortlessly carried two suitcases up the stairs to the second floor without even a hint of breathlessness. After showing me the room, she enthusiastically recommended the owner's free cheongsams. Seeing my hesitation due to my figure, she quickly pulled out a few outfits for me to try on. She was just adorable! All in all, this place feels very warm and comfortable. Haha, does this sound like I'm a shill? Unfortunately, I'm really not, otherwise this review would surely be worth a night's stay! 😂

Here's an objective and factual review: First, the pros: 1. Staying in Suzhou's old town for just over 200 RMB a night on a weekend is incredibly good value. The hotel is very close to Chayuanchang Metro and bus stations. It's a 10-minute metro ride to Suzhou Railway Station, and you can take bus 262 directly to Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum in about 10 minutes. The location is a huge advantage. 2. Being a newly renovated hotel, the room facilities are very new and equipped with smart technology. You can control things with Xiao Du voice commands, which is a great experience. 3. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable – a blessing for anyone with neck or back issues. Now, the cons: 1. At first glance, the room looks cozy and pretty, but on closer inspection, it's full of hygiene blind spots. An unused disposable paper cup had an eyelash in it, and the paper cup cover was stained, likely not changed in a long time. Even after we asked for new cups the next day, the cup cover remained the old, stained one. The first tissue pulled from the tissue box had a stain on it. The towels also had some small yellow stains, I'm not sure if they were inherent or if the towels weren't washed properly. There was a lot of dust on the floor and in the crevices of the cabinets, indicating it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. 2. The hotel is located behind a wet market, which felt a bit intimidating when arriving late at night. Three hotels share two elevators, and there's no key card access, making the environment feel a bit chaotic and unsafe. Initially, I thought about changing hotels, but after looking at reviews for other higher-end hotels in Suzhou, it seemed the hygiene situation might be similar, with common issues across the board. For this price, it's somewhat acceptable. If you're traveling with children, I'd recommend booking something a bit nicer.

I chose this hostel for my solo trip to Suzhou, and the overall experience completely exceeded my expectations! It's located right next to the South Gate of Lion Grove Garden, just a few minutes' walk to Pingjiang Road and Humble Administrator's Garden, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. It's great for getting to all the attractions. The front desk service was gentle and thoughtful, patiently answering all my questions about sightseeing. The facilities are complete, with laundry and drying areas available. The female dorm beds offer excellent privacy, making me feel very secure as a solo traveler. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Suzhou! It's so convenient to go anywhere and really comfortable, the value for money is great.
