"I decided to take an impromptu trip, booking a hotel in Suzhou on Friday night for a Saturday departure. I chose this particular hotel on Guanqian Street because of its excellent location and the fact that it's newly opened. The concierge thoughtfully provided parking information for my self-drive ahead of time. Upon arrival, we were even given a room upgrade. I was quite impressed when I walked in; although the room type wasn't huge, it was clean and tidy, full of Suzhou-style elements. We especially loved the Chinese-style sofa, perfect for a short rest and tea. The super large TV and bed were also highlights, and I had a very comfortable night's sleep. The staff were very welcoming, and the owner even gave us helpful tips to avoid tourist traps and bad food. Overall, it was a great trip, and I would definitely choose this hotel again next time."
