East Tai Lake Grand Hotel Reviews

Loving the service and amenities of this hotel. We went there during the count down weekend, we didn't manage to get our breakfast, the front desk packed 4 sets of breakfast for us as we need to rush to the train station. The hot springs were amazing too. This is by the lake, so you can actually rent their bikes to cycle along the beautiful lake.

The place is amazing, the staff is very helpful, location is very far from any attractions of Suzhou city, but for someone who is looking for peace and quiet is perfect place to go. We went there with kid, there are big outdoor and indoor playgrounds, hot spring was nice too.

Just check out of this hotel after 2 nights/ 2 rooms / 4 pax. The weather is not so forgiving but the hotel is excellent especially the employees. Special thanks to Judy, the guest relation/housekeeper who extended our rooms and same time assure that we know amenities / facilities etc in details. Thank you!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful experience with wonderful surroundings and great service. Also if you have pets, you may want to bring your dog along to share in your experience the beautiful views as an added bonus. I was informed that they have pet food and additional compliments to cater for your dog! Wonderful! One my first day, I was warmly greeted by 小雨 who speaks English very well. She answered all my questions and made the trip super smooth and comfortable. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel! Special thanks for her and her professional and friendly service. Breakfast is a buffet with an extensive selection to cater for western and eastern tastes. The Hot springs were a much needed relaxing part of the trip and it was included in the price of the room where you can visit once per day. The rooms are very clean with the aroma of essential oils. The insulation was great so you never hear the sound of your neighbours once the doors are closed. My room had a balcony with seats which you could use the space to hang out, read & do yoga if you choose! Overall- no faults! Just perfect with a friendly team from the front desk, the gardeners, the chefs- everyone made it a memorable experience.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The room was spacious and the service was fast and efficient. We needed some help and the staff was friendly. Considering it’s a hot spring, the location is very far, but luckily there are food options for delivery close by. The only real inconvenience is having to check in at one side of the building, and staying in other, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

It was OK. The location is nice, right at the water. The hotel functions in Chinese, so if was a bit hard to get by. The room was lovely and the hot springs are great.

Traveling with my girlfriend, I was lucky to choose this hotel. The hotel hardware and software are very good. The waiters are all warm and responsive, and the butler service is very considerate. The breakfast is also very rich, the ingredients are fresh, and the variety is constantly updated. Dinner is also ordered in the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The price is definitely more expensive than outside, but the quality of the dishes is very high, the taste is very good, the environment and service are great, and I am very satisfied. The room in the villa is clean and tidy, the bathroom and the room are very large, there are two large balconies, and the bedding is also very good and comfortable to sleep. The only drawback is that the sound of the air conditioner is a bit loud. After informing the hotel, the feedback immediately notified to repair or replace the motor, and the attitude was very positive. What I like most about this hotel is its environment. The hotel is located by the Taihu Lake, with beautiful scenery. It is simply a big park. It is very beautiful. You don’t have to go to the scenic spots to take beautiful photos. I didn’t finish the tour in two days, especially watching the sunset by the Taihu Lake, which gave everyone a big surprise. It was simply beautiful and took too many beautiful photos. The sports park next to the hotel is also full of surprises. The wild flowers, groves and small orchards are all very good. There are also children's playgrounds, camping bases... We didn’t have time to visit them, so we will come next time.

I chose to stay in a hotel during the May Day holiday, which was a wise choice. The hotel is relatively large, the environment is good, and it feels very comfortable. The attitude of the hotel staff is also quite good. When I meet the cleaning staff in the villa area, they will take the initiative to say hello. The shuttle bus driver is always available and the service is in place. I give them a thumbs up. The only thing is that the price-performance ratio is low. It should be considered a Chinese restaurant. The price is a bit high. The key service and food are not up to par. I found that there was a problem with the dishes. The service staff did not respond in time. It was probably procrastinated, which was not very comfortable to watch.

The room is very spacious and clean. It is very pleasant to stand on the waterfront platform and look out over Taihu Lake! I took travel photos in the afternoon and soaked in hot springs in the evening. The hotel sent rose wine and fruit snacks, and the handwritten small cards were very warm. When I checked out, I also sent butter cranberry cookies made by the chef. The housekeeper Li Diudiu was very enthusiastic and greeted me from before check-in to after check-out. Disadvantages: There is only one shower and one bathtub. In the same bathroom, they are basically not used at the same time. The other bathroom is close to the door and only has a toilet and a sink. It is recommended for a family to stay, but not suitable for two families.
