Unfortunately, we only spent one night at the Lodge, but the a**osphere of the room and the garden, the quality of the breakfast and especially the kindness and helpfulness of the host Walter convinced us that we have to come back here again!

Herzlichen Dank für die tolle Zeit in Deinem Guesthouse!! Wir haben uns super toll erholt und jeden Moment genossen. Danke für die super Tipps und das wirklich exzellente Essen nebenan- so gut isst man wirklich selten. Obwohl die Unterkunft an der Hauptstrasse liegt, ist sie sehr ruhig. Hübsche suabere Zimmer, sehr schöner Garten, leckeres Frühstück. Walter, der Inhaber, kümmerts sich rührend um seine Gäste; sehr netter Typ.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Marula Lodge, and will return. The welcome was friendly and informative and Walter took time out to make us feel at home, and made useful suggestions on restaurants in the vicinity of the guesthouse. Our room was well appointed and comfortable.

Auf unserem Roadtrip in Südafrika haben wir schon öfter einen Stop over in der Marula Lodge eingelegt und auch dieses Mal war es sehr schön. Die Marula Lodge liegt zentral in Swellendam, fussläufig zu Restaurants, ein wunderschöner Garten mit Salzwasserpool lädt zum Entspannen ein, das Frühstück ist gut und reichlich und die Zimmer schön und sauber. Walter, der Eigentümer, steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite- uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wie immer alles perfekt

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem Pool. Wer die Kap-Region bereisen möchte, sollte hier einen frühen Stopp einplanen - Walter kann viele Empfehlungen geben - wohin zu reisen, welche Restuarants gut sind, welche Straßen man bereisen sollte -, so dass mann nach einem Besuch hier bestens ausgestattet ist. Walter kennt sich hervorragend in Südafrika aus.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Marula Lodge. Lovely comfy beds - we slept really well. Spotlessly clean and a beautiful setting. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Walter was great - the perfect host!
