A warm welcome always awaits you at this guesthouse. Lovely characterful rooms each individually decorated but all overall comfortable and clean, most with a fridge /honesty bar and tea and coffee station . No dinner is served but there are many good restaurants in the nearby area. It is situated in a quiet left street ensuring a good nights sleep with well secured parking , and a tasty varied breakfast each morning on the patio overlooking the pool and the mountain.

Wir hatten für eine Nacht ein Familienzimmer, welches recht geräumig mit Einzelbett und Doppelbett ausgestattet war. Alles war sehr schön eingerichtet und angelegt. Der Garten und Poolbereich war ebenfalls schön. Das Frühstücksbüffet war qualitativ sehr gut! Nettes Personal mit guten Tipps für die Umgebung. Gerne wären wir auch noch ein bisschen länger geblieben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir waren während unseres Südafrika Trips für eine Nacht zu Gast im Aan de Eik Guesthouse. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber und gemütlich, alle waren sehr entgegenkommend. Das Auto war sicher untergestellt und wir hatten fußläufig mehrere erstklassige Restaurants, die gefahrlos erreicht werden konnten. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

Sehr nettes Personal. Das Zimmer war geräumig und das Bett sehr bequem. Auf dem ganzen Gelände gutes WLAN. Durch Solar gibt’s hier keine Stromausfälle! Das Frühstück war frisch und großzügig. Der Pool und der Garten mit Blick auf die Berge sind ein Traum!

Overall a good experience, a few little things stop it being a great experience. The grounds and swimming pool are really nice. We stayed in Bokmarienie (loft room) for 3 nights which was nice, but poor planning means that to turn on the toilet light in the night also lights up the sink area, which is about 10ft from the bed, could have been planned better. Breakfast is nice but always feel a bit frantic and on edge. I would stay here again if someone booked me here, but maybe wouldn't choose it myself. Overall I would stay this feels like a small hotel more than a guesthouse.

Lovely spacious, small hotel (12-13 rooms). Lovely gardens and views, great service, nice people. Set in a very quiet comfortable part of Swellendam and only 10 mins walk into the town. Would thoroughly recommend it .

Set in a leafy road with wonderful views this Guest House provided a superb setting for our one night stay whilst travelling the Garden Route. So much so we wished we had programmed in a few days more. The room was spacious and comfortable and our hosts were courteous and helpful. What more could you need.

Beautiful, quiet, great breakfast. Shops nearby, good restaurants in town, as well as plenty of outdoors to explore (nature reserve, etc.) We stopped for a night on our way out the Garden route to Addo Elephant Park. Wish we had planned to stay longer. This is a cute town, and the property is beautiful! Loved the large walk-in shower, and the comfy bed! Staff was very friendly.
