Friendly staff. Rather windy staircase to bedroom. Room was dated however large, bright and airy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, nice coffee, English breakfast cooked to order. Would definitely stay again!

Had a delicious afternoon tea for my mums birthday. My wife didn’t eat met but was fine with fish so they were very accommodating. When we booked I was able to talk about where we could sit as I like the window seats, this was no problem and there was no sense of impatience at all. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table which was perfect. Tea and coffee arrived soon after and then a glass of champagne which was delicious. The food then arrived soon after and the loverly Amanda (who by the way was excellent and a Credit to the hotel) explained what was in the sandwiches and what the cakes were. All in all a lovely experience. my wife and I have had at least 6 afternoon teas over the years and the service has been consistently excellent. Once again Thankyou to Amanda for making our day perfect.

We enjoyed a comfortable 2-night stay here. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is set in very nice gardens, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were a little disappointed with the food when we dined in the evening, and felt that there could have been a bit more choice on the menu. Having said that, we would be happy to return.

The property and our stay was excellent in many respects the venue is beautiful and our room. No 9 was nice clean and tidy.
However some the tiles in the bathroom were about fall of which detracted look of the room. Small other minor details were missing too like only one coaster to put your tea or coffee on and only one mug for mouth washing in the bathroom. These things were swiftly resolved when staff were notified. Breakfast was absolutely first class cooked to order and tasted wonderful with fresh ingredients. Alisa was our main contact in reception and elsewhere too. She was kind helpful and polite at all times and made every effort to make us welcome during our stay.

Lovely room and comfortable bed. Noisy neighbours though and room a bit noisy with hot water tank. Otherwise fab stay and would come again. Great location and gardens. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend staying.

Family lunch (4 adults and 2 children) on Mothers Day. The lunch and the whole experience was delightful and beautifully presented. The roast beef was probably the best I had ever eaten - it was pink and very tender. The standard of service was excellent. True value for money. This was our first visit and we will come again.

We found this to be a lovely hotel, spacious room and comfortable furnishings, all very clean. The dinner menu had limited choice but did have what we wanted. Cooked breakfast was good value and tasty but only available after 8 o'clock. The staff were excellent though, friendly, polite, helpful with a smile.
