Best Hotels near Allen C Lewis Fountain, Sydney

Located in The Rocks, walking distance to Circular Quay. Need to be a mountain goat to walk here, especially with luggage. Once dropped off, explore the beautiful Rocks area. I caught the train to Circular Quay, where the Opera House and Harbour Bridge is. Then walked up many, many stairs to get here. Well worth it. Very modern, even though it's built over an archaeological site of part of the old Rocks area. Beautifully done and preserved. Room was very modern and clean, albeit expensive for a double ensuite room. But i did not mind paying for the location and cleanliness. Bathroom modern and clean. Lockers available for long term hire. I can not rate it highly enough The rooftop of this hostel!!?? Absolutely second to none. Perfect views of the Opera House, Bridge and harbour

I had such a good stay there. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were particularly excellent - every person was incredibly kind and friendly. Binay was really lovely and helpful and Jandro, the manager was wonderful and always had an incredibly welcoming smile. I wasn’t expecting such a good experience considering how cheap it was, right in the heart of the city, but the hotel ticks all the boxes. I would definitely recommend this, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

The hotel is beautiful, perfectly clean and comfortable to stay in. The guest service employees were extremely helpful. While I checked out I needed to wait for about 15 minutes for housekeeping to check my room whether I consumed anything from the mini bar. That was the only thing that made me uncomfortable. But overall I’m satisfied and I would definitely come back.

From the first steps in front door of hotel to reception area I felt welcome. This friendly welcoming professional attitude makes you feel like part of the hotel family quickly. My room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was well equipped and the Dyptique products are tops. The observation lounge was comfortable and the drinks divine. Staff there is very capable. The spa pool and facilities excellent. I wanted to have the Sunday high tea and although the tearoom was full staff was able to arrange for me and my guests to enjoy it in the lounge. And it was perfect. Finally the ginger flower signature scent is relaxing and heightened my experience. I will always chose Langham first whenever I can.

Best view in the world , even better customer service and bar much more attentive really enjoy visiting here but feel this year it was even better just a great location , friendly staff from concierge through to the guys at the rear entrance just great

I’ve noticed aggressive feedback below and I want to advocate this awesome place. I’ve stayed in the room in March and then In June with my partner.I confirm that WiFi requires attention since it’s too too poor but I’m glad that while I was here, the management has been working on that issue. That’s true that Reception isn’t 24/7 but this is Boutique Hotel for people who aren’t familiar with term, it doesn’t mean luxury all inclusive Conrad by Hilton hotel that’s why don’t expect room service, 24/7 front desk service, towel swans and etc. In addition, beautiful and friendly ladies at the reception go extra miles to ensure that you feel comfortable and like at home. The room isn’t big but stylish if you’d like more space go for room with balcony and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea,which you may find at the reception complimentary, early in the morning looking at the Potts Point. Besides, LOCATION, this is the best,the most convenient location in Sydney! You can walk to Opera House,CBD or get the train to Bondi Beach staying away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Also, Potts Point has a soul and you may be bewitched by the spirit of this area. To sum up, don’t hesitate about the hotel, it’s gem of the area and you can definitely enjoy the time here if you don’t expect more than the hotel positioned itself. P.S. Booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary due to location and we believed for the price it was costing it would be ok. The reception staff were lovely. When we arrived we were excited to be there to unpack and hot the local area. We were given a room on level 2 with views out our window of the green edge/underneath of the freeway outside. We closed the block out blind and left it closed the whole weekend. We are afl lovers and wanted 7 mate on the tv to catch up on the game to find out it doesn't work. Tried to hdmi our laptop, they disable the source button. Room is very small bit great and had all facilities for just sleeping. We requested firmer pillows but they didn't arrive with pillow cases and when requested covers never arrived. Fabulously located to King St wharf, wynyard station and the city itself. Lovely walking from barrangaroo to the Rocks for markets, dining or to just watch the boats go by. Wild Sage cafe close by had great coffee. Overall I'd prob find another hotel close by for our stay. PS Globe sports bar around the corner was awesome for a bite and live sport

I stayed at Crown Towers Perth in Sep 2022 and June 2023. I also stayed in Crown Towers Melbourne in Dec 2022. Thus, the next logical move is to stay in Crown Towers Sydney to complete my experience in staying at all 3 Crown Towers Hotel in Australia. I finally did that. Stayed at Crown Towers Sydney from 3 Nov to 8 Nov 2023. Today is 8 Nov 2023 and I will be checking out shortly. I stayed at an opera king room which has views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The room was very well lit and nice. Just the appropriate size for a sole traveller. I also managed to try most of the restaurants in Crown Towers Sydney except Yoshii Omakase which is so hard to book and Silks. I did not managed to book Yoshii even when it opened for booking. Guess too many people booking. I tried Epicurean for breakfast, dinner at A’Mare, Nobu, Woodcut and Oncore by Clare Smyth. I did not try Silks since being an Asian Chinese, I normally do not eat Chinese food when I go holiday. Got to try other food instead. My favourite restaurant is undoubtedly Oncore where I ordered the 7 course seasonal tasting menu. Superb. Woodcut was also good where I ordered their sirloin steak. Nobu was also nice as it completed my tour of all 3 Nobu in Australia having previously eaten at Nobu Perth and Melbourne when I stayed at Crown Towers there. For Nobu , I ordered the X Haku Omakase which is 5 course. The star of the course was the lobster. Overall I have enjoyed my stay in here. As Sarah Brightman is coming to Sydney in Aug to Oct 2024, I have already booked my tickets to watch her performance at Sydney Opera House in Sep 2024 and also booked a 4 night stay at Crown Towers Sydney again. For the future, I do hope Crown Towers Sydney can have a Crystal Club for breakfast like what Perth and Melbourne has. Also, hope to see more shops/entertainment areas at Crown and also a provision/gift/snack shop here at Crown Towers Sydney.

The hotel location is basically a walkin distance from almost all of the famous place to visit. Also very near from Museum train station, then you can go to everywhere. Self checking and checkout available, then if your room is now available, also you can take it.

We stayed for two nights at the end of May. Our room was quiet & clean even if in need of a refurbish, which presumably, going by the building works going on, is in progress. The building works didn't impinge on our stay at all. Our breakfast (which was included in our room rate), was surprisingly good. The area it was served in was very clean and bright. We found all the staff to be pleasant. Being able to checkin & checkout on line made things move quicker, especially the checkout. The cost of accommodation in the city is very high so we were pleased that Song Hotel was a bit more affordable to us.
