Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, an IHG Hotel Reviews

We enjoyed our stay at Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour. It is very close to the city center and within walking distance of various tourist attractions, including Darling Harbour and Hyde Park. We particularly enjoyed our buffet breakfast, which offered a wide variety of selections.

Nearly new hotel. The hotel is positioned as a High value for money hotel. If you drive, definitely recommend it as the free parking is available.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for 4 nights prior to going on a cruise. The hotel was situated in a very convenient position, approx. 5 minutes walking distance to Darling Harbour, a few minutes to the main roads of the city, about 15 to Circular Quay and minutes from China Town. The hotel room was clean spacious and bright. We ate at the hotel on one occasion, other then breakfast. The food was fine on par with the restaurants at Darling Harbour, but saying that I cannot say that I had an outstanding meal and would go back to any of them. Breakfast consisted of a continental and menu for your traditional hot meals. I cannot comment on facilities as we never used them.

Very new hotel with a modern look. Room is very clean and comfortable with all the required amenities. Location is good: ＜5mins walk to Town Hall train station and light rail station, 5mins walk to Darling Square for food, ＜10 mins walk to Queen Victoria Building and nearby shopping area. Breakfast is good as well.

Everything is great .no issue on this. except for the main entrance located on a sloping street which makes luggage a bit interesting to hold on to. Otherwise no issue

A fave place to stay in Sydney and close to Town Hall Station. Rooms are modern with a good sized bathroom. The on-site parking is convenient, though there are cheaper overnight parking options nearby. The room service menu is great with delicious food, however options are very limited on the late night menu. The ala carte options at breakfast are good too. The outdoor pool is great with nice views of the city, however it does not appear to be heated so it can be chilly in winter.

The hotel stay was such an amazing experience. The check-in process was quick and efficient, with friendly staff. The hotel room was spacious and had a luxury feel to it, and the housekeeping was done really well, which made our stay very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect as we made plans to explore places near darling habour and circular quay, which helped us to save significant time when travelling around. We also opted for the daily breakfast, which had a good selection of breakfast items, and we were able to start our day well because of the good breakfast. I will definitely choose Crowne Plaza again should I visit Sydney again :)

Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looks great. Fantastic location between downtown and Darling Harbour business district.

Convenient for travel, very close to Chinatown and Koreatown, within walking distance. Hotel in the city, the room is not far from the view outside. Breakfast is OK. Stayed for one night

As the first stop, we rented a car directly to Sydney, so there is nothing to share about transportation. However, the location is very good. It is not far from anywhere. It is a little far away from the Opera House. It is very convenient to buy a transportation card. In fact, I usually don’t stay in big cities for four or five days. This time it happened to be National Day so I stayed a few more days. My impression of Sydney is better than that of Melbourne. The urban greening is well planned and the transportation is very convenient. This hotel It is convenient to the Commercial Street, Hyde Park, and Darling Harbor. The breakfast in the hotel is okay. I feel that it is not the same after four days. I will still be able to eat if I continue to stay. The room is quite large and the toiletries are also good. Pillow spray is provided, which smells very good. It smells good, but the only window cannot be opened. Four days is considered my limit. Later, looking back at the breakfast for these four days, it was amazing. The most important thing is that the front desk is very patient and the service is very good. I have the opportunity. Come again.

The room is new and spacious. The breakfast is half a la carte and half buffet. It’s delicious.

The room was clean, the service was good, and the location was convenient, close to the city center, Darling Harbor and Chinatown. The rooms are well spaced, fully equipped, comfortable and spacious.
