What I liked and enjoyed most was buffet breakfast. They did serve different hot meals every 3 mornings I stayed. Different kinds of tasty sausages were served each mornings. Its location, quite street in the heart of the city is also noteworthy. For those who concerns about the spaciousness of bedrooms, better avoid choosing the cheapest standard rooms. It is really small.

It's okay. It's an ordinary express hotel. The breakfast is good. The croissants are delicious. There are not many hot foods, but there are some. I'm quite satisfied. The check-out time is early. The location is average.

A one night stay as we were en route by car to Greece. A very nice hotel with immaculate rooms in an ideal location. It is just a short walk to the centre. The hotel has underground parking for an extra fee but after 6pm you can park on the street for free (until 9.00 the next day) so we availed of that as we arrived around 17.00. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff kindly filled our thermos with boiling water to take with us. Breakfast stated at 7 but we came down a little earlier and it was already waiting for us. Everyone there seemed to be travelling and leaving early so the hotel is well equipped for weary travellers. It is a very quite hotel and we had a great nights peaceful sleep there. Hope to spend a night there again at the end of our holiday as we travel back north and break the journey ion this lovely city again.

The staff, especially the one at the front desk, is the worse I have ever seen: unprofessional and rude. The booking options are limited and the parking is an absolute issue. At the end I’ve had no other choice but to cancel the booking. I’ll never visit again this hotel and definitely I will not recommend it.

2nd night the lock of our hotel room was broken, could not access, luggage of our 4 kids (one is 5 months old), baby food, clothes stuck inside for a whole night. Only a trainee receptionist present in the hotel during the whole night, no technician, no management. Management only shown up at 8 in the morning. When management finally arrived, there was no communication, no explanation, no apologies, no compensation offered, unless we asked for it. Total incapability of hotel management staff to handle the situation. Waiting for 12 hours, finally they could open the door at 9 a.m.

Stayed here for one night and must say i was impressed of the lovely comfortable beds ,but that was it,the beds were fantastic i must admit and the view to the Doom church but that was about it.Reception was great good tips from the lady about restaurants ,lovely from her to inform us they will chrage us 15€ for parking our car downstairs( they wont wash it either for that price),and ask us if we have any allergies for the breakfast .Ya...talking about that breakfast : eggs are not for everybody s taste im sure im not the only one,and the bread rolls were undercooked and baked cheese or whatever that was is too cold to eat and tasteless.Place was clean but the WC smells funny probably from the products they use to clean which stink like cheap .Level of the hotel is ok but for the prices they charge its way lower quality.And the project architect who organised these room and the bathroom sink is deffo not a master and needs to rethink .Baby bed was nice to have in the room but if not requested in advance takes too much place in the room .Appreciated the Islam tv channels too .Owners should inform in the website about the charge for parking as in all the hotels i stayed in Europe nobody charged for this and deffo not 15€!!Overall a nice experience but needs improvement in many aspects .Though thanks for having us but for this price i would look for another next time i visit Szeged .

The breakfast is wonderful and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately the staff are not responsive or accommodating. Don’t recommend more than a one night stay. I had many issues with the A/C, windows not opening properly, smoking section below my window, and insects.

This is hotel we stayed at the other night and it was a cool and funky place to stay. The hotel had parking for 10Euros that we took advantage of. The room was large and clean and had all of the requirements. The restaurant looked good, we only took a take away coffee. The place was quirky with a science meets the matrix theme. Well worth a stay!

Really liked hotel, clean , staff very friendly but needs a little more training. Not sure if was time of year but staff needs to warn clients about mosquitoes prior , we left window open for room was hot and there were many Changed room was no problem but if they were full , another story Breakfast was good So will say a good hotel to stay at

The ‘Science hotel’ in Szeged informs potential customers on its website and in the hotel on a billboard that it’s been classified as a four star hotel by the ‘Hotelstarsunion’. In addition there is written that the ‘Science hotel’ can display this label until june, 26th, 2022(picture upon request). So if any customer booked a room(and paid a price accordingly)in this hotel, after the 26th of june, 2022, convinced that he stays in a **** hotel, he was mislead. We do not like to use the word ‘cheated’, but if one takes into consideration what one pays and what one gets in this hotel, the word seems appropriate. Upon arrival the safe in our room was out of order, there was no manual and a member of the staff(‘what do you need a safe for, by the way’ said one member of the staff)was not able to repair it. We moved to anther room(smaller than the way we booked, according to my fiancée) that did not deserve the qualification either: a leakage at back of the toilet flooded the bathroom floor and this defect could not be repaired(it was the national holiday). We should not forget to mention that the hotel supplied us with frayed towels and one even had two holes(picture upon request). We stayed in this hotel 2 nights, august 19th and 20th and these days in the hotel were a great disappointment. To file a complaint, the duty manager connected us by phone to a manager higher in the line of command to discuss the problem. He apologized and could offer us a reduction for our next stay(as if we ever would go there again) and promised to give us a more detailed reaction. Up to now we have not heard of this manager….. Summary: think twice before you book this overrated hotel.The rooms are very small, the amenities poor. To end this review positive: the breakfast was good.
