Hotels in Taichung with Swimming Pools

Would like to highlight an issue we encountered with regards to our deposit and certain charges that were made to us but which we had not incurred. When we were checking out, we asked to have a look at our statement of charges as we understood that any additional charges would be offset by the deposit placed with the hotel. We had dinner at ”The Prime -Grill and Lounge” on one of the nights and just wanted to check if the charges were right. The statement showed 3 separate bills that were not incurred by us and were all purchases of alcohol, which we found strange. When we brought this up with the front desk, the staff did not seem surprised at all with the error or sought to verify the same anywhere nor were we given any apology for the mistake. It was as though she already knew that those 3 charges were unanauthorised transactions and said that the hotel would rectify the issue with the bank in respect of our deposit. The front desk was also very adamant to not let us speak to her manager about the issue. We just wanted to highlight the above because we would usually just trust the hotel to refund the right amount of deposit without checking, especially when using credit card to pay the same. But it may be worth checking when it comes to this hotel as based on the reaction which we got from the front desk, it seems that such mistakes whether intentional or not have happened before. We also hope that the hotel would do some sort of investigation into how issues like this could happen.

This time I booked a twin room. It’s pretty good that children can stay for free. There are many facilities, but I only used the sauna. It was very clean and there were not many people. I will stay again if I have the opportunity next time.

We are visiting Alishan, Sun-moon lake so make a stop at Taichung and we find this is a nice hotel and nice room and facilities are well equipt , we like hotel breadfast at the cafe which supply a bit variety of Asian food + American food too. It's a pity we only for a night , next trip I will plan to come back here for few days stay to explore Taitung.

Location is quite a distance from the city centre. Need to walk 10-15min to find local shops and eateries. Just across the hotel got a good-size supermarket. Bought local fruits for breakfast. No malls, night markets or shopping areas nearby. Room is spacious but rather old that needs upgrading. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but selection rather limited. No yogurt and limited selection of fruits. Overall a reasonable good stay.

Great hotel. I was very disappointed that the swimming pool was closed when I arrived. They rented it for a party. I can imagine that happens, but communicate it when someone books! So, if you book because of the swimming pool, check if it is open. I also missed the facilities around the pool. Like a pool guy who receives you, towels etc. Stuff to make it once to go there. And, why do swimming pools close in Taiwan during the day?

The reception staff with long hair and ponytails in the lobby in the morning had a good attitude and gave the guests a good experience. The transportation is convenient nearby and it is quiet in the bustle. It is a pity that breakfast was not eaten in the restaurant. The experience should be more perfect!

It is very cold at 20 degrees when you enter the room. After that, you can adjust the temperature to your own comfort. It would be more suitable if a USB socket is provided.

This time I booked connecting rooms. When a door is pushed in, there are two rooms on the left and right Very private for low-key people And you don’t have to worry about disturbing the neighbors. The room was very clean and bright The toilet is large and the off-white color is very comfortable ✅Breakfast is very rich ✅Beef soup is delicious But I still have gastroesophageal reflux No appetite The hotel has many adult facilities Sky bar view (but I forgot to go) The gym is not small either There are also yoga classes and aromatherapy spa But it would be a pity not to have parent-child friendliness

Living in the Lihpao Hotel, it is very convenient to go to the water park, and the land park is also convenient. There are also discounted two-day tickets in the hotel, but the high-altitude facilities of the land park will be suspended due to safety issues in rainy days. The breakfast in the hotel is very rich. The fly in the ointment is that the Internet is not stable, and there are many things that need to be paid to play. It is not a free facility in the hotel, but the swimming pool is not bad. After checking out, you can continue to play until three in the afternoon point, this is pretty good, you can spend a three-day vacation leisurely

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, but I forgot to provide toothbrushes, toothpaste and other daily necessities. Fortunately, they were replenished in time after the response. In addition, the placement of things is a bit difficult to find (such as hair dryers). The arrangement of items and personnel training may need to be strengthened. But overall, it was a very comfortable experience, thank you.
