Decent size room but open concept bathroom and toilet?? Rather unacceptable - the property may be trying to be “fashionable” but be upfront about this in the room description so travellers can make an informed decision!

The room given to me was bad.
The lights kept turning on (making the room so bright) after 5 minutes of switching it off.
Most uncalled for experience was , instead of offering a change of room, the hotel actually wanted to offer me a sleeping eye mask.
Room on pictures also look way better than in real life.
Other than this, the location and cleanliness is good.

Simple and clean. Walls and doors are a bit thin, so expect to hear other guests. Conveniently located around 15 minutes taxi from Taichung HSR station.

酒店位置就在逢甲夜市附近，定的那天是星期六，不知道為什麼臺中星期六的酒店都這麼貴，比平常的價格貴了三倍，整體入住還不錯，房間比較小，衞生説得過去，服務還是挺好的，價格在同地段算正常，下次還會考慮。

Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the location is somewhat central with the market about a 30-minute walk away, we encountered several issues. The room's headboard and side tables were dusty, and the bathroom shower area was poorly designed, allowing water to splash out. The absence of a safety box in the room was a significant concern, forcing us to carry our passport and money with us. Additionally, the street outside was poorly lit at night, making it feel unsafe. Considering these issues, potential guests should weigh the pros and cons before choosing this hotel.
