Stayed here a few times before but the last time was 10 years ago. The hotel felt tired this time and in need of some love. They kindly upgraded our room for my daughter's birthday but the toilet was blocked which they did fix quickly. Was fine but I'd look for somewhere else next time probably. Breakfast looked boring so just ate at one of the many good places near by and watched the traffic.

I got a 50% discounted for this booking. I am happy with the room in general for that value. I like that they provide brand name shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The only downside for me is that it’s not close to MRT and I don’t have a car.

I prefer the B block building room versus block A .
Room is darker and colder for this room that I stayed.
Currently there is construction ongoing next door but is quiet enough . For the price I paid . I can’t say much too .
Surrounding has decent nice breakfast joint and others.
Walk less than 10 mins u can try different food .
Can stay if you getting block B.

Could have been better if housekeeping did make up the bed however they only change towel and give extra bottle. Location is ok if you are taking uber to anywhere

This hotel offers good value for money in Taichung. It has a very vintage feel, and the decor is a bit old-fashioned. I recommend bringing your own towel, as the ones provided by the hotel are quite worn out.
