The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary.
It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it.
To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor.
During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep...

This trip was planned very early. I booked Taichung Light Travel on Trip.com very early and stayed for consecutive nights on Friday and Saturday.
It was evening when we arrived at Taichung Station. I had never traveled so close to the train station.
It is very convenient to go to every scenic spot by car
The trip comes with breakfast. The food tastes good. I was very full both mornings.
Next time I travel to Taichung and take the train, I will book Taichung Light Travel again.
