Hotels in Xiaoximen, Tainan

A thoughtfully renovated old building, featuring traditional terrazzo flooring that naturally keeps the space cool. I stayed in the room on the left, facing the entrance, and it was incredibly peaceful at night. The room was impeccably clean and fresh, with not a speck of dust even in the corners. While the bathroom is shared, the shampoo and shower gel provided were high-quality, the water pressure was fantastic, making for a really enjoyable shower, and the hairdryer was new. My only slight issue was a strong liquid air freshener placed on the floor for deodorizing. The scent was quite overwhelming for my personal preference. Guests who don't like it can simply remove it or hand it to the front desk. The water dispenser was brand new, offering cold, warm, and hot options, complete with paper cups – perfect for making a nice cup of tea. I wasn't sure if the two plastic cups in the room were meant for rinsing or for tea. I didn't get a chance to ask the front desk, so I opted not to use them.

For Tainan, this place offers great value for money. It has a sauna, pool, gym, and a super central location. If you have a reason to visit Tainan, this is a good option. The service attitude is better than other hotels in Tainan in the same price range, perhaps due to cultural influence; they are especially attentive to Japanese guests, which is fine.

This hostel is incredibly clean for a dormitory, and considering the current average prices for accommodation in Taiwan, I think it offers excellent value for money. While it's a bit far from Tainan Station, exploring Tainan city itself pretty much requires using the bus or YouBike (or a taxi if you're willing to spend). Buses run frequently and the stop is close by, so it's not really inconvenient. I believe you'd be more satisfied staying here, even if it means traveling a little further, than settling for a similarly priced place closer to the station. However, self check-in requires using LINE, which isn't an issue for Japanese people like me, but it might be a bit inconvenient for those from countries that don't use LINE.

The room is full of space, feels warm, the mattress is comfortable, the toilet is clean, the only thing is that there is a little smell when I enter it, and then the air conditioner will be gone. Very good value for money, overall recommendation!

Damn cute, breakfast was damn good also! It’s a family or child friendly hotel very good for kids although I didn’t go with any kids but my mum. Location is well for shopping mall and accessible to everywhere! Highly recommend!

Come travel alone as a young single person...don't want chaos...quiet accommodation with no noise. I recommend coming here...a Japanese style room...soaking in hot spring water before going to bed, very comfortable...only thing is the map on google. Not updating the location of the accommodation...traveling for hours...must study the route carefully before the time to check is over...good thing this place uses a keycard system...press the code as sent in the message...for people IT era 2000 I have to learn a lot this time...

The location is very convenient 😁, the owner of the homestay is super close to the people, the cleanliness is also very satisfactory, the heart of self-care, the heart of management, and the guests feel that ”Living is very comfortable 😍.” Leisure travel accommodation accounts for a large element. Travel is sightseeing or slow work. I think I will find a pot friend to experience a warm trip together. Collect it in your pocket and push it! 😋

Tainan is a homestay with a house. The location is good. It is very close to the lively area, but after getting off the bus, you have to turn into the alley for about 2 minutes. The room is also small, and you need to take the stairs upstairs. It will be inconvenient if you bring large luggage. There is a public space to sit, but the boss has his own set of rules. Overall, it feels average, it is a simple place to stay overnight, it is OK to stay for one night, but if you drag large luggage or pursue a sense of space, you may have to consider it.

This is a WOW hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Great location. Impeccable staff: Check-in, room attendant, ride hailing staff and especially their Concierge-Willy-!!!.All above par. And you gotta love their robot delivery:) They also include a free walking tour and it was wonderful!
