At Home Hotel Ximen Reviews

First time I experienced that style of do it yourself hotel. But it has been a great experience despite the Typhoon. The first room I had on 2nd floor was the best one. Directly on the same floor than the self-catering area. A quite big room with table and free snacks and drinks. Always restocked everyday. washing machines are available. On the first floor there is a room where you serve yourself for towels and other.  The reception is 24hours and speak English. The check-in was really fast and clearer. The area is very convenient with lof of shops, restaurants and convenience stores all around. Pictures of the rooms available are true to what you can expect. You can pay extra to have your room clean if you desire.

Definitely looking forward to stay again when back in Tapei. Fast check-in, hassle free and clean and good size room for couple. The hotel provides free snacks available and at a convenient location.

The hotel room is poorly maintained. Visible wear and tear on the walls, and a damaged chair. Limited customer service and you are expected to rely on instructions given to you all through the Line app. There is no housekeeping services so you have to dispose off rubbish daily (carrying the rubbish through the main lobby and main door) and retrieve new towels from a store room. This is the first time as a traveller I considered moving to a different hotel after seeing the condition of the room. The location is a 10 to 15 mins walk from the metro station. I was not planning to leave a negative review but I felt terribly shocked when they offered 100 NTD in exchange for a perfect 5 star review and requested not to leave a bad review. This is unethical and unprofessional. I’d suggest for travellers to read through more reviews before deciding to stay at this hotel.

Love our stay at At Home, abit further away from ximending station, so it's a hassle if it rains. But very grateful to the friendly staff who let us store our luggage for a day. Everything was communicated via Line which is convenient. Our wifi was not working for the laptop but the staff brought a router and solved our problem. Thank you so much we wish to stay again.

Convenient location, around 8 minutes walked from Ximen station. The only minus point was the WIFI connection a little weaker.

They offered 100 NTD in exchange for perfect review, that's main reason for dissatisfaction, as that's completely unprofessional. Otherwise everything was fine. The reception staff were very good, the WiFi had issue connecting but they resolved it immediately when asked.

The location of this hotel is really good, Ximen is a busy area with a lot of restaurants and amazing shops around. The staff is available and very friendly but Line app will be necessary to communicate smoothly with The staff. Checkin hour is at 4pm but they nicely made me checked in at 1:30pm without any extra fee. The room is clean and comfortable with a nice balcony, yet no bottle of water and room cleaning if necessary cost 1000TWD, this system exist for environmental purposes which I personally support. I definitely recommend this hotel and will happily book it again for my next trip in Taipei.

The staff are nice and friendly. The environment also pretty nice. And free provider of drinks and snacks are good.

The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of the metro, shopping, and numerous places to eat. The room was clean and mostly quiet. They offer free water and snacks that you can go get at any time. The free laundry room was also very helpful. You have to download and use the Line app to check in, which is unusual and inconvenient at first, but it does make communication with the hotel staff very easy. I would stay there again.

Very clean, tidy, good location with a reasonable price. I would reccomend this place to my friends for sure.

Location- Very convenient, right in between ximen. A lot of restaurants and bars close by. Room- very cozy, the bed is comfortable. The room is clean and tidy. Service- The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I’d come stay here next time I visit Taipei.
