Angels Hostel (Taipei Ximen)

Booked a bunk bed without curtain. Which meant that it is the upper bed at the 3-level bunk bed. At the upper bed, only a small bedside light is provided and it can be very dark as opposed to level 2 and level 1 beds where the ceiling light reaches them. The upper bed very near the ceiling, which is the same level as the ceiling lights, aircon, ventilation etc, as it was very dark, not sure about the dust situation at the ceiling. Amenities are sufficient, there's a pantry area with hot and warm water available, there's washing machine and dryer, communal area just outside the rooms with TV. Towels are available for rent. Only the toilets are outside the accommodation, 1 min walk away, while shower rooms, pantry, amenities are inside the accommodation. Cleanliness is acceptable, but do not expect spotless.

great hostel. very nice common area. very fast wifi!! and very clean.will surely come back!!

was a bit hard to find, bed are nice i like that its stairs instead of ladders but i dont like that the bathrooms are outside the hostel but the toilet paper in the hostel, very impractical

The location is good just 400m walking to Ximen Station. There is no service except the check-in tour, hence no comment on service level. People talk in the hall and the dorm is not sound proof. Design of bed is good. Toilet are outside. Except shower gel and shampoo, there is no other amenities, so you must bring everything else by yourself or buy at the reception. It is value for money

It was pleasant stay, i got the bed without curtain, they offer me extra bed sheet to covers, need to watch out the gap and head when heading bed, they have nice park nearby about 6mins walk which connect red line mrt that can go to daan, xinyi, tamsui, beitou

Super nice hostel, located in a beautiful building! Close to many restaurants!

Great location, it is in the second floor of a building just a 5 minute walk from MRT Ximen Station Exit 4. Ximending Niggt Market and Taipei Main Station are also walking distance from this hostel. It also has a good facilities especially for solo women travellers, the shower area is inside the for women only side plus there are lockers for your personal belongings. The common area is also nice, you can just chill or hang out with travellers from around the world. I recommend this place for solo travellers like me.

Could not easily find the place. The bathroom and toilet outside the hostel was an inconvenience.
