The accommodation is very clean and the staff are very friendly! There were two convenience stores on the first floor, so it was very convenient. However, please note that you have to walk about 15 minutes from the MRT station!

Got to spend the night in Taipei on a long layover. Found this hotel and loved it. Extremely comfy and clean!! Great staff. Very helpful I could walk anywhere and find delicious food!!! Price was so great and quality was top notch.

We’ve stayed at all variety of hotels and this is one of our favorites. Fun and convenient for young families. The lounge area, beverage and ice machine were an awesome touch. Front desk staff friendly and pleasant. Love!

The soundproofing of the room was poor. On the first night, I could clearly hear the conversations in other rooms.
And the bed is pretty short. I’m less than 1.8 meters tall and my feet are completely flat (I sleep on the pillow) and my feet are a little outside.
The bed should be at least 180cm
So people who are too tall should be careful.
Then remember to set the alarm clock. Late check-out costs NT$350 per hour (lesson)
Another good thing about this hotel is that there are snacks for free, as well as coffee and soda. The room is also clean and comfortable. If you have no window, you won't feel stuffy and there is no smell of smoke.

We stayed at the Via Loft for seven days, whilst doing day trips to various other parts of Taiwan. The hotel is in a good location, near the metro, plus restaurants and bakeries. This is more of a boutique hotel. The rooms are not very big, but this is the norm for Taipei. The hotel has very clean rooms. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but there are snacks all day long, including tea, coffee and soft drinks plus water and biscuits and other snacks - all complementary. We found this very useful. The hotel also has a laundry room, where we did our washing and has a dryer. This is free for hotel guests, and was useful to us as we were starting on our 2 month travels in the Far East. Taipei main station is walkable - about 20 minutes. There is a night market 15 minutes walk away, Some staff speak better English than others. The airport bus stops near the hotel so no need for a taxi.

Room was small, bathroom was mouldy. They mixed up my luggage during check-in, mistakenly put one of my luggage into another room, luckily I discovered that in time to get that back. The only thing that's good about the hotel is its location - it's close to a lot of nice local restaurants, food stall, night market.
