Meworld Hotel Taipei Main Station

location was convenient to the train station but it was hard waiting for the lifts to get to the lobby/rooms. toilets could be more well-maintained as there was a little bit of mould but the room was very spacious and clean.

The hotel is very convenient, with a good location that makes it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean and functional for a short stay. However, the soundproofing is quite poor, as noise from the hallway and other rooms can be clearly heard, which affected sleep quality. Another downside is that the hotel does not allow guests to store luggage overnight if you plan to travel elsewhere and return the next day, even for just one night. Overall, it’s suitable for convenience, but not ideal for light sleepers or flexible travel plans.

Right in front of Taipei Main Station. Thus can visit most of the landmarks such as Taipei 101 via MRT. Delicious local food nearby. Friendly staff. Bed and pillows are just nice. Room with TV. Washing machine room & Hot and warm water supply near to elevator. Low light: my room no window. Wear and tear at certain area of the room.

Room is cosy and clean! Its located next to Taipei Main Station making it very convenient and accessible to TRA, Metro, Airport MRT, Bus, etc. However, the building is apparently housing multiple hotels / office buildings. So accessing the hotel might make you waits for 5-10mins of lift during peak hours like morning/evening time... Staff Service is great! There's free wifi indicated but I only managed to connect it for a couple of hours during my 4 nights of stay there. The remaining time, my room wifi didnt even appear on the list. Additionally, when i'm on my personal line, the signal is pretty weak too. Overall, acceptable stay.

We reached at 1230pm and was told that we can check in only after 4pm. It’s fine so we went ahead exploring Xinmending which is a 20mins walk. What is unwelcoming was the toilet at the lobby. It was in a terrible state choking with poop and that is the only toilet. The room is dim especially the bathroom. The bathroom doors are opaque so we can almost see through when we were using the bathroom from the room. The carpet along the corridor and room is moldy, walls are peeling. Location is good as it’s a stone way from Taipei Main Station. We booked 3 nights but checked out after one night as it was uncomfortable.

Great location just opp taipei main station. Big and clean room but little amenities nor services. Just basic no frill room.
