For Zhiben, this is a very good resort where you can completely relax and feel the atmosphere surrounded by nature. The most important thing is that the earthquake in Hualien affected Kaohsiung, but there was no aftershock at Zhiben. Please note that it is difficult to find a bus/taxi from the station to the resort. It is recommended to contact the hotel to call a taxi service or find a local car rental company for help. One way takes about 10 minutes and costs NT$200. The room type and equipment of Zen Hot Spring House are very good. There are dehumidifiers, air conditioners and flush toilets. Guests are provided with free soup coupons. Each person is provided with a bottle of water every day. Other coffee and tea are at your own expense. The washing machine costs NT$50 each time. There is only one 7-11 nearby, which is open until 12 p.m., and a restaurant in the hotel, which is closed for dinner at 7:30 p.m. and closes at 8 p.m. Opposite Little 7 there is a breakfast shop, a lunch shop, and a shop selling souvenirs. Others are small shops selling swimsuits. There is a bus stop. The bus runs every hour until 8 pm. From the terminal in the direction of Inner Hot Spring, you can walk to Chiben National Park, which is a very good hiking trail. Stayed for two nights this time and overall I felt very comfortable and healing👍

Recently, a friend recommended me to book a one-night stay during my children's winter vacation during the East Tour Season. I really recommend the room type of Zen Garden Hot Spring House. The room was clean and tidy, and it was really comfortable to take a naked bath in the room. Personally, I think the public pool and SPA area are okay. If you just play in the water in summer, it should be okay. The overall evaluation by my family is very good and I will come again next time.
