This should be my third time staying at Zhiben Laoye. The high-quality hot springs, rich natural ecological environment, and high-level services here are the reasons why we chose to spend the New Year here this time. We even watched a flying squirrel fly from the mountain into the tree next to the venue during the New Year's Eve party and stay there for a long time. In the lottery of the New Year's Eve party, the prizes ranged from the most luxurious master suite to the general double room prizes, and the prizes appeared at least 3 or 4 times. This is a very sincere prize arrangement. But there were two regrettable things that happened during this trip. First of all, when we checked in, maybe because of the New Year holiday, the housekeeping staff were overburdened and made some mistakes in cleaning the rooms. When we checked in, there were obvious stains on the sheets in one room. In another bathroom, the bath towels in the drawer where large bath towels are placed are scattered, and there is obvious dust on the bottom of the drawer. Another drawer had remnants of long hair. Although after contacting the housekeeping staff, they immediately apologized and replaced the room, but it was always a bit surprising. The biggest problem occurred in the afternoon of the second day after we checked in. There were five of us except me, who did not go to the swimming pool because of a wound on my hand. The other four people went to the outdoor pool to swim, and all four people came into contact with the floating board. That night, small, itchy red spots began to appear on the area where the float was in contact. The number and severity became more severe the longer the float was used, and it even affected sleep. But I, who did not go to play in the water, was not affected. After checking out and returning home the next day, I was still extremely itchy. I plan to seek medical treatment after get off work today. This is the biggest regret of this trip.

Although it is an old 5-star, the environment is really good. Especially during the National Day holiday, we can book a room for 4 people for more than 3,000 yuan, which is probably unprecedented in Taiwan. There are also hot springs to wash in, and the bathtub in the room can only accommodate 2 people. But the hot spring pool upstairs is very large, perfect for 3.5 friends to take a bath together. There are also several types of welcome drinks, all of which are delicious.

The hotel is only 10 minutes away from Taitung Station, which is quiet yet lively. The station has many bus lines to Taitung city center and suburban attractions (Luye, East Rift Valley,...). You can also rent bicycles and electric bicycles. Eat rice dumplings; there are rice fields nearby. The price is reasonable, the greeting is attentive, the room is hygienic, there is a spa (you need to bring swimming trunks), there is a midnight snack at 8:00 pm (millet porridge, lemon aiyu, roselle dew, coffee, milk), breakfast is included (enough for three days to change the taste) : I like soy milk and ghost fish floss).

This hotel is much better than another restaurant I have stayed in Nalu Bay, with large space and very large breakfast (advantages). Unfortunately, the room where the family lived had fleas, and the legs were red when I woke up in the morning. It may be that some rooms are not occupied, causing uncleanness. The location is relatively biased, but it has no impact on the driver, but navigation for the evening often passes through the mountain road, a little doubt about life. The overall performance is still good, will be included in the next choice list.

It is a salvation in summer. The air conditioner in the room is very strong. It was so strong that we adjusted the temperature to 30 degrees and it was still very cold. Afterwards, we turned off the air conditioner, but I didn’t feel hot even when I slept. 5. The location is not too far from the city by car, and there is RT-Mart nearby for purchasing. 6. The pastoral scenery and mountain views are more beautiful than Nalu Bay Hotel 7. The water temperature in the two public pools is not high at 36 & 37 degrees. The space inside is stuffy and there are only two changing rooms and you cannot wash your body. One of them is a toilet and there is only an open shower next to the public pool. It is recommended to change into your swimsuit in the room before going to the bath. After soaking, go back to the room and take a shower 8. The breakfast is ordinary, but the price comes with a buffet breakfast, which I think is great. 9. There are several activities that you can participate in at the ”Galaxy Hotel next door”, such as tarot card questioning in the evening and yoga in the morning. 10. The room is large, the bed is soft and hard, it will not be uncomfortable to sleep, the bathroom is good, the bath is very comfortable to use sulfur hot spring water, and the bath is good at night. It is also good to take a hot spring. It is suitable for a family size accommodation.

The hotel is located in the Jhiben hot spring area, facing the Jhiben River, the landscape is beautiful, and the price is not expensive. The only downside is that the hotel is too old and the equipment is outdated. If you have the quality of a Japanese hot spring hotel, you will definitely be disappointed. It looks like an activity center for retired people. The hotel provides cooking stoves. You can bring your own food for cooking, so cute! Although there are many shortcomings, the hotel staff is very polite and the spring water is very positive. After the soaking, it feels like a Japanese Misasa Onsen. The skin is slippery. With the old oven, the soaking is a lot of energy.
